# Overview

The **System - BAS Codes **miscellaneous table allows you to create and maintain system BAS codes for use in Frameworks, particularly in the General Ledger functionality.

## <span style="color: #003366">Viewing System - BAS Codes</span>

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then enter** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **(or select** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from within the **System Administration - System Tables **navigation tree).

2. Enter *System - BAS Codes* into the **Table:** field, then click **Find**.

3. A current list of the BAS codes are displayed.

## <span style="color: #003366">Creating System - BAS Codes</span>

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then type** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **(or select** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from within the **System Administration - System Tables **navigation tree).

2. Enter *System - BAS Codes* into the **Table:** field.

3. Click **Add** to add a new BAS Code.

4. Enter the* number* to be associated to this new BAS Code into the **Code **field.

5. Enter a meaningful message in the **Message** field.

6. Click **Save**.

## <span style="color: #003366">Maintaining System - BAS Codes</span>

1. Click  the **Frameworks Menu**, then enter** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **(or select** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from within the **System Administration - System Tables **navigation tree).

2. Enter *System - BAS Codes* into the **Table:** field.

3. A current list of the BAS codes are displayed.

4. Move your mouse to the BAS Code you would like to update, then make the change/s.

5. Click **Save** to modify the BAS Code.
