# <span style="color: #003366">Overview</span>

<span style="color: #333333">The</span>** Event Queue Processor**<span style="color: #333333"> monitors the </span><span style="color: #333333">[Notifications Event Queue ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28405170)</span><span style="color: #333333">and processes each </span><span style="color: #333333">**Event**</span><span style="color: #333333"> and </span><span style="color: #333333">**Notification**</span><span style="color: #333333"> based on the event's </span><span style="color: #333333">**Actions**</span><span style="color: #333333"> configured for the event. From the Event Queue Processor, you can schedule when and how often each Event Trigger process runs.</span>

> ℹ️ Available event actions are **Create-Task**, **Email, SMS, Internal Notification **or **3rd Party System (API)**

# Scheduling the Event Queue Processor

<span style="color: #333333">To access the </span><span style="color: #333333">**Event Queue Processor**</span><span style="color: #333333">, perform the following:</span>

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then navigate to **System Administration > Event Notifications > Setup & Administration > Event Queue Processor **from the navigation tree.
2. If applicable:
  - Modify the** Processor Pause Interval. **Defaults to 20.
  - Enable*** *****Debug Logging***. (for testing or troubleshooting only)*
  - Modify the **Log File threshold size (MB)**. Defaults to 5MB.
3. Click the **Schedule** tab to schedule when the scheduled task should run. **We suggest setting it to 7 days a week.**

4. Click **Submit** to submit the task.
5. If run now, the **Output **tab displays the results of the completed task. If you ran the task immediately, you can click on the reports generated.  If run later, the [Task Scheduler Queue](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28405088/Scheduler+Administration#%5BinlineExtension%5DTask-Scheduler-Queue) contains the output.
