The **System Tasks - Standard Task Description **miscellaneous table allows users to create and maintain task descriptions to define a **Task Code **that can be used when assigning task to a user.

# <span style="color: #003366">Viewing System Tasks - Standard Task Description</span>

1. Click the **Frameworks menu**, then navigate to **System Administration > System Tables > Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from the navigation tree.
2. Enter **System Tasks - Standard Task Description** into the **Table:** field, then click **Find**.
3. A current list of the **Standard Task Description** is displayed.

# <span style="color: #003366">Creating System Tasks - Standard Task Description</span>

1. Click the **Frameworks menu**, then navigate to **System Administration > System Tables > Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from the navigation tree.
2. Enter **System Tasks - Standard Task Description** into the **Table:** field, then click **Find**.
3. Click **Add**.
4. Enter a meaningful code in the **Code** field.
5. Enter a* *meaningful Standard Description in the **Description** field.
6. Click **Save**.

# <span style="color: #003366">Maintaining System Tasks - Standard Task Description</span>

1. Click the **Frameworks menu**, then navigate to **System Administration > System Tables > Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from the navigation tree.
2. Enter **System Tasks - Standard Task Description** into the **Table:** field, then click **Find**.
3. Click on the field to update and make the required changes
4. Click **Save** to modify the Standard Task Description
