> ✅ **Tip: **If you run Frameworks in Microsoft Edge, you can also upload files stored on your mobile device. Refer to [Uploading a File from a Mobile Device](#Uploading-a-File-from-a-Mobile-Device) for the steps.

### 5. Uploading a File from a Mobile Device

When you run Frameworks in Microsoft Edge, you can upload photos and files stored on your mobile device directly through the **File Upload** window. The Edge **Upload from mobile** option pairs your mobile device with Edge using a QR code, so you don't need to transfer the file to your computer first.

> ⚠️ **Upload from mobile** is a Microsoft Edge feature, not a Frameworks feature. The option only appears when you run Frameworks in Microsoft Edge. Other browsers, such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, don't display the option. Before you start, make sure your computer and mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

To upload a file from a mobile device:

1. Click **Upload File** to open the **File Upload** window.
2. In the **File Upload** window, click **Browse**. The Explorer window opens.
3. In the Explorer window, click **Upload from mobile**. Microsoft Edge displays a QR code on your computer screen.
4. On your mobile device, open the camera app and scan the QR code. Tap the prompt to open `edge.microsoft.com` on your mobile device.
5. On your mobile or computer, click **Confirm** if prompted to complete the pairing between your devices.
6. On your mobile device, tap **Upload files**, select the photos or files you want to send, then **confirm **the selection.
7. On your computer, check the **File Name** section displays the name of each file, then click **Upload** to upload the files into the current location.

> ℹ️ **Note:** Microsoft Edge saves a copy of each file sent fom a mobile device to the `Downloads\UploadFromMobile` folder on your computer. If the files contain sensitive or confidential information, delete the copies from the `Downloads\UploadFromMobile` folder once the upload is complete.

Microsoft Edge ends the pairing automatically after a period of inactivity. To end the pairing sooner, click **Disconnect** on your computer or tap **Disconnect** on your mobile device. For more information about the Edge **Upload from mobile** option, refer to the Microsoft [Mobile upload](https://www.microsoft.com/edge/features/mobile-upload) page.

### 6. Deleting a File or Folder

> ⚠️ Be aware that when deleting a folder, you remove the folder and all of its contents.

To delete a file or folder, perform the following:

1. Click the **Delete** icon of the selected file or folder.
2. Click **Yes - Perform Delete** to confirm the deletion.
