The **Product Lines** section of the **Customer Transaction Enquiry** screen displays detailed product information for a selected customer transaction (invoice, order or quote). The **Product Lines** section provides pricing, costing, supply, purchasing and extra charge information across five tabs.

To view the **Product Lines** section, click a transaction hyperlink from the **Customer Transaction Enquiry** search results to open the transaction detail, then expand the **Product Lines** heading.

## Screen Access

From the **Frameworks Menu**, navigate to **Receivables > Enquiries > Customer Transaction Enquiry**. Search for and select a customer, then click on a transaction hyperlink to view the transaction detail. Expand the **Product Lines** section to view product line information.

## Section Structure

The **Product Lines** section is organised into five tabs:

1. **Pricing**: Product identification, quantities, unit pricing, discounts and line totals.
2. **Costs**: Cost, sell and margin information per product line, with rebate-level visibility controls.
3. **Supply**: Quantities ordered, supplied and remaining for each product line.
4. **Purchases**: Linked purchase order details for products on the transaction.
5. **Extra Charges**: Additional charges applied to the transaction, with cost and margin information.

## Pricing Tab

The **Pricing** tab displays product identification, quantities, unit pricing, discounts and line totals for each product on the transaction. Each row represents a single product line. Click the **Product** hyperlink to view additional product line information in the **Product Line Details** section.

### Line

The **Line** column displays the line number assigned to each product on the transaction. Line numbers are assigned sequentially (10, 20, 30 and so on) and determine the display order of products on the transaction.

**Format:** Numeric | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Product

The **Product** column on the **Pricing** tab displays the product code for each product on the transaction. The **Product** value functions as a hyperlink to the **Product Line Details** section, where additional pricing, costing and supply information for the selected product line can be viewed.

**Action:** Click the **Product** hyperlink to open the **Product Line Details** section for the selected product line.

**Format:** Text (hyperlink) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Description

The **Description** column on the **Pricing** tab displays the product description for each product line. The **Description** value can include up to four lines of text, typically showing the product name, size, grade and material details. For timber pack products, the **Description** also displays pack dimensions and pack numbers (for example, "Pack PX 10/1.000 Pack(s): 1227"). Customer-visible comments and internal comments may also appear in the **Description** column. Customer-visible comments are displayed first, followed by internal comments prefixed with "INT:" and in Italics.

> ℹ️ **Note: **WELS attribute values on the product are appended to the description on WELS-regulated product lines. For open transactions the values are read from the product's current attributes. For invoices and credit notes the values are read from the values saved against the line at the time it was invoiced. **Format:** Text (up to four lines) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Quantity

The **Quantity** column on the **Pricing** tab displays the quantity of each product on the transaction. The **Quantity** value represents the number of units ordered, quoted or invoiced. The unit of measure for the quantity is shown in the **QTY UOM** column.

**Format:** Numeric (decimal) | **Editable:** No (display only) | **Related fields:** The **QTY UOM** column defines the unit of measure for the **Quantity** value.

### QTY UOM

The **QTY UOM** column displays the quantity unit of measure for each product line. The **QTY UOM** value indicates how the product quantity is measured, such as "EA" (each), "lm" (lineal metres), "kg" (kilograms) or "M2" (square metres). The unit of measure is configured in **Product Maintenance**.

**Format:** Text (abbreviation) | **Editable:** No (display only) | **Related fields:** The **Quantity** column contains the numeric value measured in the unit shown in the **QTY UOM** column.

### Sell UOM

The **Sell UOM** column displays the sell price per unit of measure for each product line. The **Sell UOM** value shows the unit price with the unit of measure appended (for example, "$20.9000/EA" or "$1.1000/lm"), providing a combined view of pricing and measurement in a single column.

**Format:** Currency/UOM (four decimal places with UOM suffix) | **Editable:** No (display only) | **Related fields:** The **Unit Price** column displays the same price value without the UOM suffix.

### Unit Price

The **Unit Price** column displays the sell price per unit for each product line. The **Unit Price** value represents the price charged per unit of measure before any line-level discount is applied. The **Disc Perc** column shows any discount percentage applied to the **Unit Price** to calculate the final **Line Total**.

**Format:** Currency (four decimal places) | **Editable:** No (display only) | **Related fields:** The **Disc Perc** column contains the discount percentage applied to the **Unit Price**. The **Line Total** column displays the calculated total after applying the discount.

### Disc Perc

The **Disc Perc** column displays the discount percentage applied to the **Unit Price** for each product line. A value of 0.0 indicates no discount has been applied. The discount percentage is determined by the pricing hierarchy based on the customer's contracts, promotions and discount module settings.

**Format:** Numeric (percentage, two decimal places) | **Editable:** No (display only) | **Related fields:** The **Unit Price** column contains the price before discount. The **Line Total** column contains the calculated total after applying the **Disc Perc** discount.

### Line Total

The **Line Total** column displays the total sell value for each product line after quantity and discount calculations have been applied. The **Line Total** is calculated as: **Quantity** × **Unit Price**, less any **Disc Perc** discount.

**Format:** Currency (two decimal places) | **Editable:** No (calculated)

## Costs Tab

The **Costs** tab displays cost, sell, GST and margin information for each product line on the transaction. Costing information may be hidden if user group security restricts viewing of cost data. Users who cannot see cost information will see blank values in the cost, markup and GP columns. Contact your Systems Administrator to configure cost visibility permissions.

### Rebate Level

The **Rebate Level** drop-down menu controls which level of rebated cost is displayed in the **Costs** tab grid. The **Rebate Level** field is only visible when the system flag **InvRebCst** is configured to store rebates on transactions and the user's **Frameworks Rebate View** setting (configured in **User Maintenance**) is set to a level higher than the **InvRebCst** default.

Available rebate levels include:

- **Non**: Displays cost before any rebates are applied.
- **Rebated**: Displays cost with partial rebates applied.
- **Full**: Displays cost with full rebates applied.

Only rebate levels equal to or below the user's **Frameworks Rebate View** setting appear in the drop-down menu. The **Rebate Level** defaults to the level defined by the **InvRebCst** system flag.

**Format:** Drop-down menu | **Editable:** Yes | **Default:** Value defined by the **InvRebCst** system flag | **Visibility:** Only displayed when the user's **Frameworks Rebate View** level exceeds the **InvRebCst** default.

### Product (Costs)

The **Product** column on the **Costs** tab displays the product code for each product line. The **Product** value functions as a hyperlink to the **Product Line Details** section.

**Action:** Click the **Product** hyperlink to open the **Product Line Details** section for the selected product line.

**Format:** Text (hyperlink) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Price Method

The **Price Method** column displays a code indicating how the sell price was determined for each product line. The **Price Method** code identifies which pricing rule in the pricing hierarchy produced the transaction line price.

Price method codes include:

- **l**: List price (retail less discount).
- **O**: Unit price override.
- **N**: Total price override (entered when the line was being processed).
- **S**: Special product (includes special products and special buy orders/contracts).
- **D**: Default contract.
- **C**: Selected contract.
- **M**: Discount module.
- **P**: Promotion.

**Format:** Text (single character code) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Contract

The **Contract** column displays the contract ID of the contract pricing applied to each product line. The **Contract** column is blank when no contract pricing was used for the line. Contract pricing is configured in **Special Pricing > Maintenance > Contracts**.

**Format:** Text (alphanumeric) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Prom Id

The **Prom Id** column displays the promotion identifier applied to each product line. The **Prom Id** value is a six-character reference that identifies the promotion used to calculate the product line price. The **Prom Id** column is blank when no promotional pricing was applied. Promotions are configured in **Special Pricing > Maintenance > Promotions**.

**Format:** Text (up to six characters) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Line Cost

The **Line Cost** column on the **Costs** tab displays the total cost value for each product line. The cost level displayed is controlled by the **Rebate Level** selection when rebate-level visibility is active. The **Line Cost** value is used to calculate the **Markup %**, **GP %** and **GP** values for the product line.

**Format:** Currency (two decimal places) | **Editable:** No (display only) | **Related fields:** The **Rebate Level** drop-down menu controls which cost level is displayed. The **Line Sell** and **Line Cost** values are used to calculate the **GP** column.

### Line Sell

The **Line Sell** column on the **Costs** tab displays the total sell value for each product line (excluding GST). The **Line Sell** value represents the revenue from the product line and is used with **Line Cost** to calculate margin information.

**Format:** Currency (two decimal places) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Line Gst

The **Line Gst** column on the **Costs** tab displays the GST component for each product line.

**Format:** Currency (two decimal places) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Markup %

The **Markup %** column displays the markup percentage for each product line. The markup percentage is calculated based on the **Line Cost** value: (**Line Sell** − **Line Cost**) ÷ **Line Cost** × 100.

**Format:** Numeric (percentage, one decimal place) | **Editable:** No (calculated) | **Related fields:** The **Line Cost** and **Line Sell** columns are used in the markup calculation.

### GP %

The **GP %** column displays the gross profit percentage for each product line. The gross profit percentage is calculated based on the **Line Sell** value: (**Line Sell** − **Line Cost**) ÷ **Line Sell** × 100.

**Format:** Numeric (percentage, one decimal place) | **Editable:** No (calculated) | **Related fields:** The **Line Cost** and **Line Sell** columns are used in the GP percentage calculation.

### GP

The **GP** column displays the gross profit dollar amount for each product line. The **GP** value is calculated as: **Line Sell** − **Line Cost**.

**Format:** Currency (two decimal places) | **Editable:** No (calculated)

### Costs Tab Totals Row

The totals row at the bottom of the **Costs** tab displays aggregated values across all product lines on the transaction. The totals row includes summed values for **Line Cost**, **Line Sell**, **Line Gst** and **GP**, and weighted averages for **Markup %** and **GP %**.

## Supply Tab

The **Supply** tab displays order fulfilment information for each product line, showing quantities ordered, supplied and remaining. The **Supply** tab is useful for tracking partially fulfilled orders and identifying outstanding balances.

### Product (Supply)

The **Product** column on the **Supply** tab displays the product code for each product line.

**Format:** Text | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Description (Supply)

The **Description** column on the **Supply** tab displays the first line of the product description for each product line.

**Format:** Text | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Qty Ord

The **Qty Ord** column displays the total quantity ordered for each product line. The **Qty Ord** value represents the original quantity placed on the transaction.

**Format:** Numeric (decimal) | **Editable:** No (display only) | **Related fields:** The **Qty Supp** column shows how much of the **Qty Ord** has been fulfilled. The **Qty Bal** column shows the outstanding quantity.

### Qty Supp

The **Qty Supp** column displays the quantity that has been supplied (despatched) to the customer for each product line. The **Qty Supp** value updates as picking and despatch processes are completed against the transaction.

### Qty Bal

The **Qty Bal** column displays the remaining quantity yet to be supplied for each product line. The **Qty Bal** value is calculated as: **Qty Ord** − **Qty Supp**. A **Qty Bal** of zero indicates the product line has been fully supplied.

## Purchases Tab

The **Purchases** tab displays linked purchase order information for products on the transaction. The **Purchases** tab shows which products have been ordered from suppliers via linked purchase orders, the quantities ordered and received, and the expected delivery dates. Only product lines with linked purchase orders appear on the **Purchases** tab.

### Product (Purchases)

The **Product** column on the **Purchases** tab displays the product code for each product line that has a linked purchase order.

**Format:** Text | **Editable:** No (display only)

### P/Order

The **P/Order #** column displays the linked purchase order number for the product line. The **P/Order #** value functions as a hyperlink to the purchase order, allowing drill-down access to the full purchase order details.

**Action:** Click the **P/Order #** hyperlink to open the linked purchase order.

**Format:** Text (hyperlink) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Ordered

The **Ordered** column displays the quantity ordered on the linked purchase order for each product line.

**Format:** Numeric | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Received

The **Received** column displays the quantity that has been receipted into stock on the linked purchase order. The **Received** value updates as stock receipting is completed against the purchase order. The unit of measure is displayed alongside the received quantity.

**Format:** Numeric with UOM | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Q UM

The **Q UM** column displays the quantity unit of measure on the linked purchase order. The **Q UM** value indicates the unit of measure used for the **Ordered** quantity.

**Format:** Text (abbreviation) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### S UM

The **S UM** column displays the stocking unit of measure for the product. The **S UM** value may differ from the **Q UM** value when the purchase order unit of measure differs from the product's stocking unit of measure.

**Format:** Text (abbreviation) | **Editable:** No (display only) | **Related fields:** The **Q UM** column shows the purchase order unit of measure. When **Q UM** and **S UM** differ, a unit of measure conversion applies.

### Supplier

The **Supplier** column displays the supplier code for the supplier on the linked purchase order.

**Format:** Text | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Due Date

The **Due Date** column displays the expected delivery date for the stock from the supplier on the linked purchase order.

**Format:** Date (DD/MM/YYYY) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Inv

The **Inv** checkbox indicates whether the linked purchase order line has been invoiced. When enabled, the supplier invoice for the purchase order line has been received and processed. When disabled, the supplier invoice is still outstanding.

## Extra Charges Tab

The **Extra Charges** tab displays additional charges applied to the transaction, such as delivery charges, handling fees or surcharges. The **Extra Charges** tab shows cost, sell and margin information for each charge. Extra charges are configured in **Sales > Maintenance > Extra Charges Maintenance**.

### Charge Id

The **Charge Id** column displays the identifier for each extra charge applied to the transaction. The **Charge Id** value corresponds to the extra charge code configured in **Extra Charges Maintenance**.

**Format:** Text | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Description (Extra Charges)

The **Description** column on the **Extra Charges** tab displays the description of each extra charge applied to the transaction.

**Format:** Text | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Line Cost (Extra Charges)

The **Line Cost** column on the **Extra Charges** tab displays the cost value for each extra charge.

**Format:** Currency (two decimal places) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Line Sell (Extra Charges)

The **Line Sell** column on the **Extra Charges** tab displays the sell value for each extra charge.

**Format:** Currency (two decimal places) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Line Gst (Extra Charges)

The **Line Gst** column on the **Extra Charges** tab displays the GST component for each extra charge.

**Format:** Currency (two decimal places) | **Editable:** No (display only)

### Markup % (Extra Charges)

The **Markup %** column on the **Extra Charges** tab displays the markup percentage for each extra charge, calculated based on the **Line Cost** value.

**Format:** Numeric (percentage, one decimal place) | **Editable:** No (calculated)

### GP % (Extra Charges)

The **GP %** column on the **Extra Charges** tab displays the gross profit percentage for each extra charge, calculated based on the **Line Sell** value.

The **GP** column on the **Extra Charges** tab displays the gross profit dollar amount for each extra charge.
