# Overview

The **EPC Maintenance **screen allows you to create and maintain supplier EPCs.

# Accessing the EPC Maintenance Screen

To access the **EPC Maintenance **screen, perform the following:

1. Click **Frameworks **then navigate to **Inventory** > **Electronic Price Catalogue** > **EPC Dashboard** from the navigation tree.
2. Click **Find **to return a list of all supplier EPCs or refine your search with the available fields.

3. Click the hyperlink of desired EPC import or click **New **to [Create a New Supplier EPC Import](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fwksproau/pages/30509660).

# Navigating the EPC Maintenance Screen

Once you have entered the **EPC Maintenance **screen, you can view, edit and maintain your supplier EPC.

There are five main components to the **EPC Maintenance **screen:

1. **Breadcrumbs**: Click any of the hyperlinks to navigate to previous pages.
2. **Header Details**: Displays all the basic details of the supplier EPC.
3. **Actions Menu**: List of processes that allow you to view, edit and maintain further information.
4. **Product Grid**: A list of products inside the EPC topped with various search fields to filter the results.
5. **Save Button**: Will become active when any changes are made. Click to save changes.

## 1. Breadcrumb Navigation

Allows you to navigate back to previous pages. Simply click the **Search **hyperlink to navigate back to the **EPC Dashboard**.

## 2. Header Details

Contains basic overarching details of the supplier EPC.

> ℹ️ The header can be edited by selecting **Edit **in the **Actions **menu.

The information displayed here is:

| **Field** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Supplier** | ID and name of the supplier. |
| **Format** | File format of the EPC import. |
| **Frequency** | Frequency of the EPC file import; either Daily, Weekly or Monthly. |
| **Branch** | Displays the **Branch** for which the EPC configuration applies. **All Branches **is displayed when the EPC file applies to all branches. |
| **Last Imported** | Date of the last successful import. |
| **Last Updated** | Date of the last time the EPC file was updated/modified. |
| **Date Applied** | Date the last time an EPC file was applied to the Master Product File in Frameworks. |
| **Supplier Effective Date** | Date when the supplier's information or agreement becomes valid or active. |
| **Status** | Status of the EPC Load. Statuses are:<br>- **NEW: **For newly created Electronic Product Catalogues, with no products added yet.
- **MODIFIED: **The header details have been modified.
- **UPDATED: **There has been a changes to the product listing.
- **IMPORTED:** An EPC file has been imported, either manually or via a scheduled task, an there have been no changes the catalog.
- **APPLIED: **When the [Applying an Imported EPC File](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fwksproau/pages/30530220) process has been completed. |
| **TradeNet ID** | Displays the TradeNet ID number for the supplier, if their EPC details are imported via the TradeNet API |

> ℹ️ You can import supplier EPC data automatically through the API if your supplier is set up for it, choose a compatible option, and enter the needed details. Manual import is still available if not using the API. ## 3. The Actions Menu

From the **Actions** menu, maintenance options are available to help you manage the supplier EPC.

The options available are as follows:

### 1. Edit

Opens the **EPC Maintenance Header **window and allows you to edit the **Format **and **Frequency** of the supplier EPC.

- The **Supplier, Branch** and** Effective Date **fields are set when first importing or creating the EPC and are greyed out and cannot be changed.
- The **Format **and **Frequency** fields can be modified. Choose an available option from the dropdown menus.
- The **Last Imported**, **Last Updated**, **Date Applied** and **Status** cannot be modified but will change depending on user action in other sections.

### 2. Delete

Allows you to delete the entire EPC including the supplier record.

### 3. Import

Allows you to import an existing EPC from the same supplier. Completing this process will change the **Status **to IMPORTED.

### 4. Apply

Opens the **EPC Apply View **screen which allows you to modify the stock that is loaded into the EPC and when the changes should occur. Completing this process will change the **Status **to APPLIED.

## 4. The EPC Product Grid

Contains a list of all products contained within the EPC. On loading the product grid performs a product lookup, based on the following hierarchy; Product Code, Barcode, Supplier SKU, GTIN, Catalog number and Alternate codes.  This allows for the the **Supplier Curr Cost**, **Current Purch UOM** and **% Cost Variance** fields in the EPC product grid need to be populated.

> ℹ️ **Note:** Any field with the **Current **in the column heading displays the product details already within Frameworks.

> ⚠️ This list can be refined by filling in any of the search fields at the top and clicking **Find**.

### EPC Product Maintenance

Each product can be maintained in the following ways:

### 1. Edit the Product Details

1. Click the **Pencil **icon to open the **EPC Maintenance Detail - Edit** window and edit the product details. Click **Save **to finalise changes.

#### 1. Product Details

- Includes information on the product.
- Fields that are not greyed out can be edited but only if the new information is correct.
- If any information is incorrect, a warning will be displayed, and changes cannot be saved until this is rectified.

####  2. Product Details Additional

- Includes more product details, Including Image and DataSheet URL's

#### 3. Supplier Volume Discounts

- Click **Add **to add a quantity break discount for the product.
- Select an **Order Type** from the drop-down: **Stock**, **Daily** or **All**

> ⚠️ The **Order Type** column is hidden when [FWPurchaseType](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/FRAM/580748063/Purchasing+and+Receipting+Related+System+Settings#FWPurchaseType) flag is disabled.

- You can discount by ONE of the following:
  - **Discount %**
  - **Discount $**
  - **Unit Cost**

#### 4. Safety Information

Includes information on how the product should be treated based on safety guidelines. These fields are all predefined and cannot be changed.

#### 5. GTIN

Click **Add **to add a GTIN for the product

| **GP %** | The gross profit percentage. | **Length, Width, Depth and Weight** | The product's dimension and weight details<br>> ℹ️ Applied to your stock records using the **Updated Descriptive Data | Master | Length, Width, Depth **and **Weight **options in [EPC Apply - Stock Update Parameters](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28402894). |
| **Main Image URL** | The main image file location for the product. This must be a publicly available location. The image will be displays in the Product Dashboard and when adding the product in POS.<br>> ℹ️ If a URL exists in this field and the product is include in the filter used by the [EPC Apply - Stock Update Parameters, ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28402894)then this URL will be applied to the **General Information **section in [Product Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378114). |
| **DataSheet URL** | The file location for the product's datasheet. This must be a publicly available location. The image will be displays in the Product Dashboard<br>> ℹ️ If a URL exists in this field and the product is include in the filter used by the [EPC Apply - Stock Update Parameters](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28402894), then this URL will be applied to the **General Information **section in [Product Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378114). |
| **Pack Size** | The pack size (Inner Pack Quantity) if the product is a pack.<br>> ℹ️ Applied to your stock records using the **Updated Descriptive Data | Supplier **option in [EPC Apply - Stock Update Parameters](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28402894). |
| **Break Packs** | Enable > Macro (inline-media-image)

| **Source** | The stock source of the product. Use one of the following option:<br>- **W:** For if the stock source of the product is from a Warehouse. the **Original Supplier** field is also recommended to be updated..
- **D: **For if the stock source is Direct from the supplier. Note: the **Original Supplier** becomes the product Supplier and the EPC Supplier becomes the **Creditor** for the product.
- **N: **For National Distribution Centre and is similar to the stock source of warehouse.<br>> ℹ️ Applied to your stock records using relevant **Update Source Codes **option in [EPC Apply - Stock Update Parameters](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28402894). |

| **Core** | Enable > Macro (inline-media-image)

| **Product Status** | Displays if the product type is Stocked or Non-Stocked.<br>- **0** - Stocked

### 2. Add a Product

Click the **Add **icon to open the **Add Product to Stock File** window and add a single product to the stock file. Edit the chosen fields and click **Save**.

- Where a product already exists, the user will be prompted with a warning to add the product to the stock file using the following available actions:
  - **Generate New Product Number**
  - **Generate Branch Record**
  - **Create Alternate Supplier**

> ⚠️ Only the action **Generate New Product Number **allows you to edit the fields before saving.

> ℹ️ The **Location** field is optional. However, if the **Multiple Fixed Locations** flag is enabled in [Branch Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28390994), then the entered location must be valid.

### 3. Delete a Product

To delete a single product, perform the following:

1. Click the **Close **icon at the far end of the product details to open the **EPC Maintenance Detail - Delete **window.

> ⚠️ This window looks similar to the **EPC Maintenance Detail - Edit** window and allows you to review the product details before deleting them.

2. Click the **Delete **button to delete the product. Once selected, you will be prompted to confirm the deletion of the product.
3. Click **Yes-Perform Delete** to remove the product.

## 5. Command Buttons

Click **Save **to finalise any changes made to the supplier EPC.
