Standard  > ℹ️ 2. Branch > ℹ️ 3. Supplier > ℹ️ > ℹ️ Discount and Contract pricing will be applied based on your company’s [Pricing Hierarchy](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28377236). > ⚠️ **Important: **If you are already running the [Apply New Prices](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/prostix/pages/31102161) task from Prostix, turn off the nightly batch queue option for applying future prices. ## Running the Apply Product Future Pricing Task To apply future product pricing, perform the following: 1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **Inventory, Utilities & Scheduled Tasks > Apply Product Future Pricing** from the navigation tree. 2. From the** Import Criteria** tab you can define which future prices will be applied based on: - The effective date of the price change. - Future pricing option for the product. - Which branch/es require the change. ![Apply Product Future Pricing.png](media://8a8c2c00-d3cd-40ac-bb69-2f698ca419af)
For more information about the options available, click here. **Date Effective** Select the date to apply the new pricing for all products with future price changes that have an **Effective Date** on or before the date selected. --- **Standard Prices** Enable to apply price changes for products with **Future Standard Pricing** that have an **Effective Date** on or before the date selected. The following fields are updated under the **Key Details** section of the [Product Maintenance ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378114)screen. - Standard Cost - Gross Profit % - Unit Sell - Unit Sell GST Inc > ℹ️ The future standard pricing applied includes any manually set future sell prices and GP% values that were entered independently of the Retain GP% (Up/Down) flags. The system applies the resultant cost, sell price and GP% that were calculated when the future pricing was set. --- **Branch Prices** Enable to apply branch pricing changes for products with **Future Branch Pricing** that have an **Effective Date** on or before the date selected. The following fields are updated under the **Product Branch Pricing **section of the [Product Maintenance ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378114)screen, of the branch being updated - Unit (Branch) Cost - Cost Loading - Gross Profit % - Unit (Branch) Sell --- **Supplier Prices** Enable the **Supplier Prices** checkbox to give you additional options around which future supplier pricing you will want to apply. - **Update Standard Cost from the new Supplier Price: **Enable to apply the **New Supplier Costs **of **Standard Cost, Freight $** and **% **for products that have an **Effective Date** on or before the date selected. - **Updated Branch Cost From the new Supplier Area Pricing: **Enable to apply the **New Supplier Branch Costs **based on their allocated Area (1 - 6) for that have an **Effective Date** on or before the date selected (the Branch cost is updated based on area applied to the branch). The following fields are updated under the **Product Suppliers **section of the [Product Maintenance ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378114)screen for the supplier or branch being updated. **Details Tab** - Freight - Freight % **Prices Tab** - Gross Cost - Freight Cost The following **Product Branch Pricing **details may also be applied according to which area a branch is associated with. - Unit (Branch) Cost (Gross Cost + Freight) The following **Key Details** may also be applied: - Standard Cost (Gross Cost + Freight) --- **Discounts** Enable to apply price changes for products with **Future Product Discounts** that have an **Effective Date** on or before the date selected. - **Will update Branch 0 Discounts:** Branch 0 discounts are applied for the specified date. - **Will update Branches as specified below:** Branch discount records that match the branches specified below are applied for the specified date. Branch 0 discounts are not updated. The following fields are updated under the **Product Discounts **section of the [Product Maintenance ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378114)screen of the discount group being updated. - Discount % - Discount Price - Gross Profit % --- **Contact Prices** Enable to apply price changes for products with **Future Standard Prices** that have an **Effective Date** on or before the date selected. > ✅ Refer to the [Contract Future Price Review](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28405466) User Manual for more information. --- **All Branches** and **Branch List** Enable **All Branches** or enter a list of branches you want to apply the price changes to.
3. Go to the **Schedule** tab to schedule the task as required, and then click **Submit **to run the task. > ✅ Refer to [Scheduled Task - Scheduling and Output](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28402256) for more information on scheduling tasks, if required. 4.
