# <span style="color: #172b4d">Overview</span>

This scheduled task is recommended to be run nightly. It is used to <span style="color: #333333">import new products, created in </span><span style="color: #333333">[Product Maintenance ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378114)</span><span style="color: #333333"> without a tier pricing record already defined, into the Product Tier Pricing Dashboard. This scheduled task also updates products to the contracts if the section has been assigned and also updates any current or future prices based on the tier level assigned to the contract. Once the </span><span style="color: #172b4d">**Apply Tier Price to Contract and Discounts **</span><span style="color: #333333">scheduled task has been run, these products are then made available to the </span><span style="color: #333333">[Product Tier Pricing Dashboard ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28402830)</span><span style="color: #333333">. These product/s must then be assigned tiered pricing. </span>

# Running the <span style="color: #172b4d">Apply Tier Price to Contract and Discounts</span> task

To schedule the **Apply Tier Price to Contract and Discounts** task, perform the following:

> Click **Frameworks **then navigate to **Inventory > Tier Pricing > **<span style="color: #172b4d">**Apply Tier Price to Contract and Discounts**</span> from the navigation tree.

> From the Reports Criteria there are no editable options
>

> > ℹ️ The **Current Settings** are defined under **System Administration > System Tables > Miscellaneous Table Maintenance**:
