# Overview

The bonus point product for Mighty Rewards allows you to add additional Mighty Reward points to a customer's account. Before you can do this, you will need to create a specific <span style="color: #333333">Frameworks product with zero cost and sell it.</span>

## <span style="color: #172b4d">How to Create a Bonus Point Product</span>

To create a Bonus Point Product for Mighty Rewards, perform the following:

### 1. Define a Product Group

The Mighty Rewards bonus point product requires its own product group 

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **System Administration > System Tables > Product Group Maintenance **from the navigation tree.
2. Click **New **to create a new product group and enter the following information.
  - **Group ID: **ZMR (or Product Group as per post-sales checklist)
  - **Description**: Mighty Rewards Bonus Product
3. Click **Save** to create the Product Group.

### 2. Create the Bonus Points Product

> ⚠️ The product is to belong to the new **ZMR** group and have a **zero cost** and **zero sell.**

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **Inventory > Maintenance > Product Maintenance **from the navigation tree.
2. Click **New Product** to create the new 1 Bonus Point Product.
3. From the **New Product window,** enter the following:

| **Field** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Product ID** | Enter **M100000000024** as the product Id |
| **Barcode** | Enter **M100000000024** as the barcode |
| **Product Type** | Select **Miscellaneous **from the drop-down menu |
| **Product Description** | Enter **Mighty Rewards 1 Bonus Point** as the product description |
| **Product Group** | Enter **ZMR **as the product group or click **Search** icon to open the **Product Group Finder**. |
| **Unit Cost** | Ensure the unit cost is **$0.0000** |
| **Unit Sell** | Ensure the unit sell is **$0.0000** |

4. Click **Save** to create the product.
5. In the [Product Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378114) screen, navigate to the **General Information **options and click **Edit**.
6. Ensure options relating to labelling and printing are disabled, specifically the following options:
  - **Product Labels**
  - **Prices Product Labels**
  - **Shelf Label**
  - **Print on P/Slip**
7. Click **Save** to commit the changes.
8. In the [Product Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378114) screen, navigate to the **Product Branch Stock **options and perform the following:
  1. Select the** Add **button and select the Branch.
  2. Accept the default values for the branch.
  3. Click **Save/Close**.
  4. Repeat for each branch.

> ℹ️ This will make the Miscellaneous product stocked at each branch.

### 3. Define the Bonus Product in the General System Settings

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **System Administration > System Tables > Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **form the navigation tree.
2. In the **Table** field type **System Settings - General** and click **Find**.
3. Find the code **POSMRB24** and in the **Value** field enter the product Id **M100000000024 **of the new 1 Bonus Point Product.
4. Click **Save** to commit the changes.
