# Windows PC

Windows PC at Point of Sales has two pieces of software installed:

- Java socket listener runs on windows, manages communication to device, listens on socket port 3333 for connection from Frameworks.
- Device driver software which talks directly to the signature pad.

The Windows PC has a mapped drive to the Frameworks Linux server /prostix/dmp/sig/ in order to send the saved .jpg signature files when captured at POS.
