# <span style="color: #003366">Overview</span>

The Gross Profit (GP) Calculator helps users to correctly calculate prices using the Cost price and any of the other fields such as:

- The Cost Plus percentage
- The Gross Profit percentage
- The Sell price excluding GST (GST Ex)
- The Sell price including GST (GST Inc)

# <span style="color: #003366">How to Use the GP Calculator</span>

To access and use the GP calculator, perform the following:

1. Click **Frameworks **and navigate to **Sales > Utilities & Scheduled Tasks > GP Calculator **in the navigation tree. The GP Calculator will open up in the centre of the screen.
2. In the **Cost** field enter in the cost** **of the product.
  
  
3. Then entering a value in any of the other fields will calculate and display the results in the remaining fields.
  For example, typing in the **Cost** and the **Cost Plus**% with display the results for the **Gross Profit%** and the **Sell** prices.

> ℹ️ Use the **Clear **button to clear the calculators' results.

4. When finished click the **Close **button.
