# Overview

The** System - Timber Length Codes **miscellaneous table** **allows you to set timber length codes at a system level. When System Flag **TimVal **is activated, product timber lengths are validated at either the system level or at the product level.

If timber lengths are defined at both the system and product level, the product level takes precedence.

Product-level timber lengths are setup and maintained in Prostix.

To view and set up system-wide timber lengths, refer to the processes below.

## <span style="color: #003366">Viewing System - Timber Length Codes</span>

To view timber length codes at a system level, perform the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then enter** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **(or select** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from within the **System Administration - System Tables **navigation tree).

2. Enter *System - Timber Length Codes *into the **Table:** field, then click **Find**.

3. A current list of the timber length codes are displayed.

## <span style="color: #003366">Creating System - Timber Length Codes</span>

To add a new value for a timber length code, perform the following:

1. click **Add**.

2. Enter the *Company ID**** ***into the** Company **field.

3. Enter the *timber length* in the **Code** field.

4. Click **Save**.

## <span style="color: #003366">Maintaining System - Timber Length Codes</span>

<span style="color: #333333">To edit values for a timber length, perform the following:</span>

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then enter** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **(or select** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from within the **System Administration - System Tables **navigation tree).

2. Enter *System - Timber Length Codes *into the **Table:** field, then click **Find**.

3. A current list of the timber length codes are displayed.

4. Select the timber length code you would like to change.

5. Make your changes.

6. Click **Save**.
