> This process explains how to customise the **Report** **Criteria** tab for a new report.

# <span style="color: #003366">Overview</span>

When publishing a report in Frameworks you will need to add all of the required query parameters for the report to run. Using the [Report ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28401648)Definition module, you can customise the layout and default values of the report parameters displayed in the report criteria page when running the report. 

Reports with the owner as **Sterland** are the standard reports that have been created and published by Sterland. These reports cannot be edited; only **New **or **Copied **report definitions can be customised.

# <span style="color: #003366">Customising the Report Parameters</span>

To edit the report definitions for a report, perform the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **System Administration > Screens & Menus > Report Definitions.**
2. Click on the **Report Name** hyperlink of the report you want to edit.

3. Edit the **report parameters** as required. The **Add** and **Remove** buttons will only be available for new or copied reports.

4. Click **Save** once the changes have been made.
5. Open up the **[Reporting Dashboard ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28380010)**** **to run the report

## Example

In this example we have:

1. Copied the parameters of an existing report
2. Renamed the report (This must match the queries name)
3. Customised the parameters.

Changes to the **Report Definitions **are highlighted in yellow.

- Un-ticking the **New Row **boxes keeps the **Branch** fields and **Date** fields on the same row as each.
- Adding a **SPACER** and ticking the **Row Spacer **box added a space between the Branch and Date rows.
- Ticking the **Hidden** box fixed the Minimum GP% to be the entered **Default Value **15 and removed it from the report criteria page.
