# Overview

The **Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **function** **provides a single, dynamic maintenance function that manages multiple virtual tables, streamlining the process compared to individual maintenance functions that handle a single dataset. This approach results in significant efficiency improvements.

To access Miscellaneous Table Maintenance, add the **miscTableMain** activity to your **Shortcuts** menu, as it is no longer available through the Frameworks menu.

# Accessing Miscellaneous Tables

To access Miscellaneous Table Maintenance, perform the following:

1. Add the **miscTableMain** activity to your **My Shortcuts** menu.
2. Type the table name into the **Table** field, then click **Find** or leave blank to display all tables.

# Viewing System Setting Tables

<span style="color: #333333">Some common tables relating to System Settings are:</span>

To view all tables relating to System Settings flags or settings, perform the following:

1. Type the relevant table name into the Table field, then click **Find**.
2. The codes, purpose, and value are displayed. For the **System Settings - Flags** table, the **Flag** check box indicates if the flag is active or not.

# <span style="color: #003366">Adding or editing System Setting Tables</span>

To add or edit System Settings tables, perform the following:

1. **To add a new flag or setting**, click the relevant table's link, then click **Add**, add the **Code, Flag Purpose,** **Setting Purpose** and/or **Value **then click **Save**.
2. **To edit an existing flag or setting**, select the relevant flag, then update the **Code, Flag Purpose,** **Setting Purpose** and/or **Value** then click **Save**.

# <span style="color: #003366">Exporting Miscellaneous Table Configuration</span>

<span style="color: #333333">To export Miscellaneous Table Configuration (flag/table settings), perform the following:</span>

1. Right-click anywhere on the list grid to pop-up the following dialog box:

2. Select either Excel or.csv as appropriate.
3. Frameworks automatically downloads the data in the format selected.
