# Overview

<span style="color: #333333">The </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Quote Import Cross References (Xref)</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> system tables allow you to view and set up codes that can be used to assist in the interpretation of information that is imported into Frameworks from a third-party program such as Excel.  At the time of </span><span style="color: #333333">[Importing Jobs](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fwksproau/pages/30530468)</span><span style="color: #333333"> you will be able to </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Resolve Job Import Lines </span>**<span style="color: #333333">and in doing this the information is written to the following in Quote Import Xref system tables.</span>

> ℹ️ Xref tables are not required to be defined prior to importing.

> ⚠️ It is important to define the **Estimators** names who are creating the information to be imported. Each estimator may have individual standards in relation to the naming of products, units of measure and sections. These Xref tables allow you to customise the interpretation of the imported data by defining all of this information as it is defined by the estimator.

> ⚠️ To define the estimators navigate to **System Administration > System Setup > Sales > Job Import - Estimators.**

# <span style="color: #333333">Quote Import Cross Reference Tables</span>

<span style="color: #333333">To access the Quote Import Cross Reference Tables, perform the following:</span>

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then navigate to **System Administration > System Setup > Sales >** then select one of the below **Quote Import Xref** tables.

## Quote Import Xref Section Maintenance

Sections are a means of defining a stage in the job process that relates to the different stages of a build. The **Sections** option allows you to type the estimators section codes and the corresponding Frameworks section code. For example, floor, roof truss, wall, etc.

This table displays:

- **Imported Section**: This displays the description of the **Imported Section.**
- **Our Section**: This displays the Job **Sections**, as defined in the miscellaneous table **Job Tables - Job Sections**.
- **Section** **Description**: This field automatically populates the section description based on the **Our Section** selection.
- **Last Changed**: This field is informational and displays the last date and time the section was updated.

From here, you can **Add,** **Updated **and **Remove **the Quote Import Xref Sections by:

1. Click **Add** to create a new line and enter the required information (as above).
2. To update any of the **Quote Import Xref Section **fields, click on the** **field you want to adjust and make the required changes. The **Last Changes** column will be updated.
3. Click the **Search** icon to open the **Quote Xref Section finder** to help find defined **Sections.**
4. To remove a Quote Import Xref Section, select the **line **and click Remove.
5. Click **Save** to commit any changes

## Quote Import Xref UOM Maintenance

<span style="color: #333333">The </span>**Unit of Measure**<span style="color: #333333"> option allows you to type the third-party unit of measure codes and the Frameworks unit of measure codes.</span>

This table displays:

- **Their UOM**: This displays the description of the **Imported UOMs. **
- **Our UOM**: This displays the <span style="color: #333333">Frameworks unit of measure codes.</span>
- **UOM Description**: This field automatically populated the UOM description based on the **Our UOM** selection.
- **Last Changed**: This field is informational and displays the last date and time the UOM was updated.

From here, you can **Add,** **Update **and **Remove **the Quote Import Xref UOMs by:

1. Click **Add** to create a new line and enter the required information (as above).
2. To update any of the **Quote Import Xref UOM **fields, click on the** **field you want to adjust and make the required changes. The **Last Changes** column will be updated.
  - Click the **Search** icon to open the **Unit of Measure Code finder** to help find defined **UOMs**.
3. To remove a Quote Import Xref UOM, select the **line **and click **Remove**.
4. Click **Save **to commit any changes

## Quote Import Xref Usage Maintenance

Usages are a means of further defining sections of a job process that relate to the different stages of a build. The **Usage **option allows you to type the estimators usage codes and the corresponding Frameworks usage code. For example, Garage Beams, Outdoor Beams, Main House Beams etc.

This table displays:

- **Imported Usage**: displays the description of the **Imported Usage. **
- **Our Usage**: This displays the Job **Usage**, as defined in the miscellaneous table **Job Tables - Job Usages**.
- **Usage Description**: This field automatically populated the usage description based on the **Our Usage **selection.
- **Last Changed**: This field is informational and displays the last date and time the usage was updated.

From here, you can **Add, Updated, and** **Remove **the Quote Import Xref Usages by:

1. Click **Add** to create a new line and enter the required information (as above).
2. To update any of the **Quote Import Xref Usage **fields, click on the** **field you want to adjust and make the required changes. The **Last Changes** column will be updated.
  - Click the **Search** icon to open the **Quote Xref Usage finder** to help find defined **Usages.**
3. To remove a Quote Import Xref Usage, select the **line **and click **Remove**.
4. Click **Save** to commit any changes

## Quote Import Xref Product Code Maintenance

<span style="color: #333333">The </span>**Product Codes**<span style="color: #333333"> option allows you to view and define the product codes imported for each estimator. </span>

<span style="color: #333333">The </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Quote Import Xref Product Code Maintenance screen</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> has 2 sections:</span>

1. On the left, you can select the **Estimator **and display all of their imported products in the grid below. The information included on the grid is:
  - The **Estimators** Name
  - The **Imported Product** description
  - The Frameworks **Product ID** and **Description**
2. On the right, you can view and edit the imported product **details.  **To view the details, click on the **Product ID **hyperlink. The information available in the **Details** section is:
  - The **Estimators** Name
  - The **Imported Product** description
  - The Frameworks **Product ID** and **Description**
  - Any applied **Surcharges **

From here, you can **Add,** **Update **and **Delete **the Quote Import Xref Product Codes by:

1. Click **Add** to create a Quote Import Xref Product Code and enter the required information (as above).
2. To update any of the Quote Import Xref Product Codes** **fields, click on the **Product ID **hyperlink you want to adjust and make the required changes.
  - Click the **Search** icon to open the **Product** and **Quote Surcharge List Finders** to help find defined products and surcharges.
3. To delete a Quote Import Xref Product Code, select the **Product ID **and click **Delete**.
4. Click **Save** to commit any changes
