# Overview

Independent Hardware Group have introduced a national Trade recognition program named Trade+.  This program is targeted at the Tradie that does not have a Terms account with the store and whose transactions at the trade counter are conducted using the Trade COD account.

The program is available only to those Trade Customers who have an ABN together with their apprentices.

The program is open loop in nature i.e. available to Tradies at any participating branded store and guarantees the Tradies a discount regardless of their account status in the store.

# Refer to the processes below for how to use Trade + Rewards Program (Mitre10):

When a Trade+ customer comes to the counter, they'll provide a card to scan into the Customer field on the POS screen.  Frameworks will detect the card prefix and link the sale to the Trade+ COD account that you defined in Reward Program Maintenance.  The sale will then attract the pricing from the discount module of that Trade+ COD customer.
