The **Financial **section within the **Management Dashboard **provides a rolling 12-month financial position for the company. The lines show total revenue, expenses and a net profit position for each month.

> ⚠️ In order to display financial data accounts need to be set up (income and expenditure accounts) either via Frameworks chart of accounts or the financial reporting tool.

> ⚠️ ## Security Group Access Requirements
> ⚠️ 
> ⚠️ To access the **Financial** dashboard, a user's security group must include the `GlDashView` Frameworks activity.
> ⚠️ 
> ⚠️ Depending on the level of access required, also include any of the following activities:
> ⚠️ 
> ⚠️ - **Monthly Trends:** `financialview` grants access to monthly trends on the **Financial** dashboard.
> ⚠️   - **Monthly Trends (Small view):** `financialsmallview` grants access to monthly trends (small view) on the **Financial** dashboard.
