# Overview

In Point of Sale (POS), there is an option to open a second display on a customer-facing screen to show transaction details.

> ⚠️ This function can only be best utilised by users with dual monitors set-up.

# Setting Up the Heads-Up Display

To set-up the customer-facing HUD, complete the following:

## 1. Enable the Customer Display for POS

To enable the HUD for POS, complete the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Home Icon** and navigate to **System Administration** > **System Setup** > **Devices & Printing** > **Device Maintenance** from the navigation tree.
2. Enter your **Branch** and/or enter a range devices using the **Device From **and **Device To** fields, then click **Find **to load your list of devices.
3. Scroll across to the **Customer Display at POS** column and enable this function for your desired devices.
4. Click **Save **to finalise your changes.

## 2. Set the Company Logo

To set the company logo for the top left of your Heads-Up Display, complete the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Home Icon** and navigate to **System Administration** > **System Setup** > **Company & Branch** > **Company Maintenance** from the navigation tree.
2. Scroll across to the **Logo URL **and insert the image URL for your company logo.
3. Click **Save** to finalise your changes.

## 3. Set Advertising & Images

To set the advertising and images to display on your Heads-Up Display between and during your sales, complete the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Home Icon** and navigate to **System Administration** > **System Setup** > **Screens & Menus** > **Home Dashboard Configuration** from the navigation tree.
2. Click **Add** and enter the following details into the available fields:  
- Enter the **Company** code or click the search icon to open the **Company Finder**.  
- Select the **posHeadsUpMessage **or **posHeadsUpLSMessage **type **Code** for your image or advertising. The **posHeadsUpMessage** image is displayed when a sale is in progress and the **posHeadsUpLSMessage** image is displayed when NO sale is in progress.  
- Enter the **Value**, similar to the example below. Your content can be either an image or gif and the size can be changed as you desire to best fit your monitor.
3. Click **Save** to finalise your changes.

# The Customer-Facing HUD in POS

Once set-up, the HUD screen can be opened within **Point of Sale** by clicking the **HUD **button beneath the transaction number in the top left.
