# Overview

The **Stocktake PDA Export** allows you to export product information, including all barcodes, as separate lines in a tab-delimited .txt file. This file can be used for scanning during stocktaking with a PDA. You can choose to include all branches or just a specific one, making inventory management easier and more flexible.

# Exporting File for PDA Stocktake Scanning

To create the export file for stocktake scanning, perform the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu **and navigate to **Inventory** > **Utilities & Scheduled Tasks** > **Stocktake PDA Export** from the navigation tree.
2. The **Stocktake PDA Export **screen will be displayed.
3. From the **Import Criteria** tab, select which branch the product record will be exported from.

> ℹ️ If the **Branch** field is set to All Branches, the entire product record will be exported.

3. From the **Schedule **tab, select the task notification option to **Send a Notification **or **Send an Email**.

4. Click **Submit** to run the scheduled task.
5. If you run the task immediately, the **Output **tab displays the results of the completed task, and you can click on the reports generated.  If run later, the [Task Scheduler Queue](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28395250) contains the output.
