# Overview

The **Pack Treatment** screen allows you to change the product codes of the contents within packs without having to consume and recreate the packs. This is particularly useful when the packs undergo processes like treatment or kiln drying, where only the product codes need to be updated but the quantity and length of the pieces remain the same.

> ⚠️ The change of product code within the pack will require a stock adjustment to be made with appropriate GL postings to account for any value differences or movement between product groups, etc.
