# Overview

Frameworks Mobile allows you to use the camera on your mobile device to scan barcodes directly into a selection of Product and Location fields.

Once enabled, scanning is available form the following Frameworks mobile pages:

- **Product Enquiry: **Available for the Product field.
- **Stocktake: **Available for the Location and Product fields.
- **Label Batches: **Available for the Location and Product fields.
- **Pack handling: **Available for the Product field.
- **Purchase Requisition: **Available for the Product field.

> ❌ Please note the following Barcode types can NOT be scanned using the Scandit app through Frameworks;** Codabar, MSI Plessey, Data Matrix Code, PDF147** and** AZTEC.**

# Applying the Scandit License to Frameworks

To apply Scandit license to Frameworks, enabling the scan function, perform the following:

1. Click **Frameworks** and navigate to **System Administration > System Tables > Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **from the navigation tree.
2. In the **Table **field, enter **System Settings - General** and click **Find**.
3. Using the code column filter find the code **ScanditLicense **and enter the license key into the **Value** field.
4. Click **Save **to apply the license.
5. Logout and back into Frameworks on your mobile devices and the **Scan **option will be available.
