# Overview

Some companies produce many packs of timber in the timber mills on a daily basis. As each pack is created it needs to be recorded into Frameworks and the pack label created. The sheer volume of packs created makes the manual recording of the packs a very time-consuming task, however, the Frameworks Timber Pack Creation module enables you to quickly and easily specify the contents of a pack of timber by selecting a product and defining lengths held within the pack, prior to producing the relevant pack label.

> ⚠️ **Important: **Before Timber Pack Creation functionality can be used refer to [Admin and Setup - Timber Packs Creation](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28405488) for more information on setting up the required system administration activities.
