# Overview

Customer Price Books allows customers to

- Request changes to their price book generation schedule and price book format details
- Request a new Price Book
- Resend an old Price Book

Price Books can be sent in any of the following formats.

:warning: 1/9/2018 Sterland has released a new pricebook format Basic CSV 2 that contains the Product ID, Description, UOM and the Customers price.

  
**The columns within the Price Book provide the following information:**

| **Column** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| Column A = | Product ID |
| Column B = | Product Description |
| Column C = | Product Group |
| Column D = | Product Subgroup1 |
| Column E = | Product Subgroup 2 |
| Column F = | Product Subgroup 3 |
| Column G = | Selling UOM |
| Column H = | Customer price |

# Manage a New or Old Price Book

To request changes or request a new or old price book, perform the following:

1. Click **Frameworks **then type **Customer Price Books** (or select** Customer Price Books f**rom the **Special Pricing - Maintenance **navigation tree).
  
2. Refer to the following available options to maintain Customer Price Books:

## <span style="color: #003366">Add a new price book</span>

To add a price book schedule, perform the following:

1. Click **New **to add a customer price book schedule. Refer to the collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of these options:

| **Field** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Customer ID** | Type the customer ID number. The **Search **is available to search from. |
| **Price Book Delivery Format** | Select the appropriate price book format from the dropdown menu |
| **Full or Incremental** | Select the appropriate price book type from the dropdown menu |
| **Frequency** | Select the appropriate schedule frequency from the dropdown menu |
| **Price Book Recipient Email** | Type the email of the nominated recipient. |
| **Delivery File Name Format** | Autopopulated upon selecting price book delivery format. |
| **Full price list required quarterly** | Tick if the Customer wants to receive a full price book every quarter. |
| **Show new product codes** | Tick if the Customer wants to receive a price book that contains new product codes only. |
| **Core products only** | Tick if the Customer wants to receive a price book that contains core products only. |
| **Zip price file** | Tick if the Customer wants to receive the price book in zip file. |
| **Customer prices last calculated** | This field will automatically update as the price book is sent |

2. Click **Save**.

## <span style="color: #003366">Remove a customer</span>

To remove a customer from the customer price book schedule delivery, perform the following:

1. Type the customer ID into the search box or click **Find**.
  
2. Click the hyperlink customer number to open the record.
3. Click **Delete **then **Yes-Perform Delete**.

## <span style="color: #003366">Update a customer</span>

To update a customer's price book schedule, deliver details, perform the following:

1. Type the customer ID into the search box or click **Find**.

2. Click the hyperlink customer number to open the record.

3. Update any required fields then click **Save**.

## <span style="color: #003366">Send a new Price Book</span>

To send a new price book, perform the following:

1. Type the customer ID into the search box or click **Find**.

2. Click the hyperlink customer number to open the record.

3. Click **Send New Price Book**.

## <span style="color: #003366">Resend a Price Book</span>

To resend an old price book, perform the following:

1. Type the customer ID into the search box or click **Find**.

2. Select the hyperlink customer number to open the record.

3. Select the Price Book to be resent in the History table.

4. Click **Send New Price Book**.
