# <span style="color: #172b4d">Overview</span>

<span style="color: #172b4d">The Frameworks Home Dashboard has the ability to display a customised message and webpage for each company. </span>

> ℹ️ The message is always displayed above the webpage (if added).

# <span style="color: #172b4d">Accessing the Home Dashboard Configuration</span>

To access the Home Dashboard Configuration, perform the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then navigate to **System Settings > Screens & Menus > Home Dashboard Configuration **from the navigation tree.
2. Click **Find** to view all the currently added messages and webpages.

> ℹ️ Refine your search by using the **Type** drop-down menu and selecting either **homeDashboardMessage**, to view only the messages or **homeDashboardUrl**, to view only the webpages.

# Adding a Home Dashboard Message

To add a company-wide message to the Home Dashboards, perform the following:

1. From the **Home Dashboard Configuration **screen, click on the **Add** button.
2. On the right hand side of the screen, add the following information:
  - **Company**: Enter the **Company ID** you want the message to be displayed for, or click on the **Search** icon to open up the **Company Finder **window to select a company.
  - **Code**: To add a message, from the drop-down message, select the code **homeDashboardUrl**
  - **Value: **Enter in the message you would like to add to the home dashboard.

> ℹ️ The Value field can use **Html Tags** to change the formatting of the text on the page. Some useful tags are:
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ - **Heading Tags**: For example using **<h2>**Welcome to Frameworks**</h2>** will using the heading 2 styling. Any text type after the closing tag </h2> will begin on the next line.
> ℹ️ - **New Line Tag**: To start a new line of text add **<br>** to the end of the line and any text type after this will begin on the next line.
> ℹ️ - **Text Formatting Tags**: Some basic text formatting tags are; **<b>**makes the text bold**</b> **and **<i>**puts the text in italics**</i>**
> ℹ️ - **Scrolling Tag: **For example using **<marquee>**will scroll this text across the screen**</marquee> **on a new line. You can also add heading tags or text formatting tags to the scrolling text also.

**Example using Html Tags**

```xml
<h2>Hello and Welcome to Frameworks!</h2>
<b>Australias leading business management system</b><br>
built <i>specifically</i> around your needs<br>
<marquee><h2>Please be advised James Hardie price rise as of the 1st of May, Scyon up to 3% and all other products up to 6%. Please quote accordingly.</h2></marquee>
```

3. Click **Save**to commit the changes.

> ℹ️ You may need to logout and back into Frameworks to view the changes on the home dashboard.

# Adding a Webpage to the Home Dashboard

To display a webpage/website to the Home Dashboards, perform the following:

1. From the **Home Dashboard Configuration **screen, click on the **Add** button.
2. On the right hand side of the screen, add the following information:
  - **Company**: Enter the **Company Id** you want the message to be displayed for, or click on the **Search** icon to open up the **Company Finder **window to select a company.
  - **Code**: To add a message, from the drop-down message, select the code **homeDashboardUrl**
  - **Value: **Enter in the website address (Url) you would like added to the home dashboard, for example, [https://www.myframeworks.com.au/](https://www.myframeworks.com.au/)

> ✅ **Tip**: In your web browse, navigate to the webpage/website you would like displayed and copy the Url form the address bar to paste into value field.

> ⚠️ Some websites, like youtube or internal intranets (like Google Drive and SharePoint) may not display due to the sites security permissions

3. Click **Save** to commit the changes.

> ℹ️ You may need to logout and back into Frameworks to view the changes on the home dashboard.

# Editing a Message or Url

To edit a message or webpage for a company's home dashboard, perform the following:

1. In the **Results Grid,** click on the **Code** hyperlink to open up the details on the right of the screen.
2. Make the required changes to the **Value **field
3. Click **Save **to commit the changes.

> ℹ️ You may need to logout and back into Frameworks to view the changes on the home dashboard.
