# Overview

# Accessing the Contracts Dashboard Screen

To access the Contracts Dashboard, perform the following:

1. Click **<span style="color: #111111">Frameworks </span>**then navigate to **Special Pricing > Maintenance > Contracts **from the navigation tree.
2. Click **Find** to view all the contracts in Frameworks.

> ℹ️ The **Branch** field defaults to All Branches.

# <span style="color: #172b4d">Navigating the Contracts Dashboard Screen</span>

<span style="color: #333333">Once you have opened the </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Contracts</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> </span>**Dashboard**<span style="color: #333333"> you will be able to </span>**<span style="color: #333333">view</span>**<span style="color: #333333">, </span>**<span style="color: #333333">create </span>**<span style="color: #333333">and </span>**<span style="color: #333333">access</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> your contracts.</span>

The screen is made up of two sections, these are:

## 1. The Search Options

In the search options section, you are able to perform the following:

### 1. Search for Existing Contracts

You are able to refine your search by:

- **Branch: **From the drop-down menu select the required **branch.**
- **Customer:** Enter the **customers' name** or **ID** and select the customer for whom this contract will apply to or click **Search** to open the **Customer Finder** window.
- **Contract: **Enter the **contract Id **or part of the contract Id.
- **Contract Type:** From the drop-down menu select **All, Customer, National, Job **or **Default **to search for the required contract type.

Click **Find** once your search criteria have been added to update the results grid below.

### 2. Create a new contract

Click the **New** button to add a new contract.

## 2. The Results Grid

The results grid displays the information related to your search results. From her you can:

### 1. Open a Contract

Click on the relevant **Contract** hyperlink to open the [Contracts Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28391896) screen.

### 2. View information about the entered contracts

From the grid you can quickly view information related to the entered contracts.

> ℹ️ Right-clicking on the grid headings will allow you choose which columns you want to be visible.

**Customer**

Displays the assigned **customer Id**. Only available for the customer contract type otherwise it will display 000000.

**Brn **

Displays the** branch Id **of the branch that created the contract. This informational and has no affect in the application of the contract.

**Customer Name**

Displays the assigned **customer name**. Only available for the customer contract type.

---

**Contract**

Displays the **contract number** for the contract. Click on the hyperlink to open the [Contracts Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28391896) screen.

**Type**

Displays the** contract type** of the contract.

---

**Description**

Displays the **description **of the contract for easy reference.

---

**Start **and **Finish Date**

These columns displays the **start **and **finish dates** the contract is effective from and to.

---

**Review Freq**

Displays the** review frequency **of the contract. This is the number of months between contract review dates.

---

**Lock Period**

Displays the **lock period** of the contract. The lock period allows you to lock the contract, preventing price changes, for a specified number of days prior to future pricing review dates.

> ⚠️ This is only required if the [Future Pricing](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28402830) module has been activated.

**Lock Date **

Displays the** lock date** of the contract, this is the date for which the pricing will be locked into before the price is reviewed. Any product future pricing changes due to occur during the time between the lock date and the Future Review date will be move to the next review period.

**# Cust**

Displays the number of **customer **currently linked to the contract.

---

**# Branch**

Displays the number of **branches **currently linked to the contract.

---

**Pricing Rule**

Displays the assigned **pricing rule **of the contract

---

**Special Buy In**

If enabled, there are **Special Buy-Ins **allowed in this contract.

---

**Auto Select**

If enabled, the contract will be auto selected for pricing. This allows you to create multiple default contracts for a customer.
