# Overview

The **Product Location Transfers **module allows you to transfer a product, internally within a selected branch, from an existing location to a new [Warehouse and Assembly Locations](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28409342). The **Product Location Transfers Dashboard **allow you to search for and view these location transfers as well as create new transfers.

> ⚠️ **Product Location Transfers **requires the feature code **LOC **to be **Active.**

# Accessing the Product Location Transfers Dashboard

To access the **Product Location Transfers Dashboard**, perform the following:

1. Click **Frameworks **then navigate to **Inventory > Maintenance > Product Location Transfers **from the navigation tree.
2. Click **Find **to view all the current transfers for the selected branch.

> ℹ️ The **Branch** will default to the current session branch.

# <span style="color: #172b4d">Navigating the Product Location Transfers Dashboard Screen</span>

Once you have opened the **Product Location Transfers Dashboard** screen you can search for and view the current and completed location transfers as well as create a new product.

The screen is made up of two sections, these are:

## 1. The Search Options

1. You can refine the results of the Product Location Transfers by using:
  - The **Branch **drop-down menu to view the location transfers for a specific branch or all branches.
  - The** Complete **checkbox to view all the completed location transfers for a defined date range.
  - The **Date From **and **Date To **fields to adjust the date range. The date range defaults to the week prior to the current day.
2. Click **Find **once your search criteria have been entered to update the results.
3. Click the **New **button to open the **Product Locations Transfers Header** window to allow you to create a new location transfer. Here you can:
  1. Selected the **Branch** the product location transfer is required for. This will default to the current session branch.
  2. Select the **Assignee** for the transfer. This will default to the currently logged-in user.
  3. Click **Save **to create the new product locations transfers and open the [Product Location Transfers Maintenance ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28391590)screen.

## 2. The Results Grid

The results grid displays information related to your search results. From here you can:

### 1. Open a Product Location Transfer 

Click on the relevant **Transfer No **hyperlink to maintain the location transfer.

### 2. View the current or completed Location Transfers

From the results grid, you will be able to quickly view information related to the location transfers based on your search criteria. The information displayed here is:

- **Branch: **This displays the branch Id for the transfer
- **Transfer No: **This displays the allocated transfer number. Click on the hyperlink to open the maintenance screen.
- **Completed Date: **This displays the date on which the product location transfer was marked as completed.
- **Assignee: **This displays the currently assigned user for the product location transfer.
- **Status: **This displays the current status of the product location transfer. The available statuses are **Open **and **Completed.**
