To test whether your Signature Pad is being recognised as a device once connected to your PC via USB, perform the following:

1. Click your Windows start button, then go to **All Programs** > **ePadLink** > **ePad** > **Generic ePad Test Utility.**

> ⚠️ The utility starts automatically. It looks for attached ePads and will state if one or more are found. If one is found, it states ePad ready.

2. Start signing on the screen of your signature Pad. Click stop on the utility on your PC to disconnect the device.

> ⚠️ The signature should show up in the test windows on your computer screen. The signature should also display on your ePad if you have an LCD based ePad (ePad INK, ePad vision or ePad LS) only).
