# Supported Browsers

DMSi's applications and the specific browsers supported:

| Application | Internet Explorer | Microsoft Edge | Chrome | Safari | Firefox |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| **Frameworks** v6.1+ | :cross_mark: | :check_mark: | :check_mark: | :check_mark: | :check_mark: |

**Cookies and JavaScript**: Regardless of the browser being used, our applications require session cookies and JavaScript enabled in your browser to provide correct rendering and display.

## Browsers

DMSi tests and validates four primary browsers for application releases:

- [Chrome](http://www.google.com/chrome/) from Google
- [Safari](https://www.apple.com/au/safari/) from Apple
- [Edge](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge) from Microsoft
- [Firefox](https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/) from Mozilla

DMSi tests the latest stable release of each browser at the time of application release and periodically thereafter.

## Older Browsers

DMSi recommends you operate from a stable browser version that has been released for 6 months or more. There may be incompatibilities with new browser versions and our applications.

DMSi accepts client issues for these browsers reported to [Support](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/page/support) and will attempt to replicate the issue on a fully supported browser. If Support cannot replicate the issue, DMSi will recommend that you move to a browser version fully supported by DMSi. In some cases, an additional recommendation might be to update to a more modern version of our applications.

# Additional Information

<details>
<summary>How DMSi tests and validates browsers</summary>

DMSi's approach to determining browser testing and validation is driven by two main considerations:

1. Testing and validating the latest browsers, especially where browser auto-updates drive rapid end user upgrades.
2. Testing and validating an appropriately broad set of browsers that are being used among our customers.

When a browser is listed as tested and validated, DMSi is committed to supporting customer usage in two main ways:

1. Before a release, by testing available browser and operating system combinations to prevent potential browser-related issues.
2. After an application release, by rapidly addressing customer issues by:
  - Accepting Support calls/SysAid tickets on the platform technology, assisting with the resolution, and escalating the issues for resolution.
  - Working to resolve any browser issues in product releases as with any other type of issue.

<summary>If an application doesn't work</summary>

If an application doesn't work when using a browser version listed above, perform the following:

1. Download the latest version using the links above and try again.
2. Try using a different browser as a temporary workaround solution.
3. If that doesn't work, please provide the following information when you contact [Support](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/page/support):
  - An explanation of the issue
  - Identify the browser and version you were using
  - Identify the operating system and version on your computer
  - A screenshot of your issue
