# Overview

In most cases, no configuration is required for the Frameworks Mobile version. It uses the same login URL as the standard Frameworks browser, however when run on a phone it detects the device type and displays a cut down menu.

<summary>Testing the Frameworks Mobile version on a PC</summary>

If you wish to view the Frameworks Mobile functionality eg for testing purposes, via the PC Browser, you can toggle the screen to mimic the look and feel of the mobile solution using the following steps:

1. On your PC browser run your standard frameworks URL to display the login screen.
2. Press <**F12**> to open the google developer tools screen:
3. In the top left corner of the **Dev Tools** window Click the > Macro (inline-media-image)

 icon once. This will change the screen from a PC layout to a phone/tablet layout.
4. Press <F5> to refresh and reload your Frameworks login screen and login using your normal Frameworks credentials.

# <span style="color: #172b4d">Navigating the Frameworks Mobile Version</span>

## 1. The Frameworks Menu

1. Click the **Frameworks **menu to open up the navigation tree.
2. Used the **Search **field at the top of the navigation tree to quickly find the activity you are looking for.
3. Press the **bold menu heading** to display the available modules and then press to open the activity.

> ℹ️ Menu options will only be seen if the user has access to those same menus in Frameworks.

## 2. Page Navigation

1. The Activity/Page you are working on will be displayed at the top of the screen
2. Press the **<**button to step back to the **Home** page or **Back** to the previous page
3. Use the on page tab to display more information. The darker blue tab is the active tab.
4. A Full screen windows will open for **Finder windows** and **entry window**. Click the **X **in the top right corner to close the window.

## 3. Mobile Barcode Scanning

> Once enabled, scanning is available from the following Frameworks mobile pages:
> 
> - **Product Enquiry: **Available for the Product field.
> - **Stocktake: **Available for the Location and Product fields.
> - **Label Batches: **Available for the Location and Product fields.
> - **Pack handling: **Available for the Product field.
> - **Purchase Requisition: **Available for the Product field.
> 
> To scan a barcode, perform the following:
> 
> 1. Click the **Scan** button for the field you want the scanned barcode information to be entered.
> 
> > ℹ️ If it is the first time scanning allow your Frameworks address to use the devices camera.
> 
> 2. Scan the barcode by lining up the line on the screen over the barcode.
> 3. Once the barcode is registered the information will be added the field.

## Notifications

Your Frameworks notifications are also available on the Home page and can be viewed and acknowledged as you would do in Frameworks.
