# Overview

The **Work Orders Dashboard** allows you to view all of the currently in-progress and completed work orders related to projects, services, and workshop<span style="color: #222222"> o</span>rders <span style="color: #222222">as well as stock work orders.</span>

# <span style="color: #172b4d">Accessing the Work Orders Dashboard</span>

To access the **Work Orders Dashboard**, perform the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **WorkOrders > Work Orders **from the navigation tree.
2. Click **Find** to view all of the currently in-progress and completed work orders.

> ℹ️ The **Branch** field defaults to the current session branch.

# <span style="color: #172b4d">Navigating the Work Orders Dashboard</span>

Once you have opened the **Work Orders Dashboard,** you will be able to view and maintain your work orders as well as create new **Stock** work order types.

The **Work Order Dashboard** is made up of 2 main sections; these are:

1. The Search Options
2. The Result Grid

## 1. The Search Options

1. You can refine the search results by using:
  - The** Branch **drop-down menu to view the orders due for delivery for a specific branch or all branches.
  - The **Customer **field to search and view w<span style="color: #333333">ork orders by a single customer.</span>
  - The **Assignee **field to search and view w<span style="color: #333333">ork orders for a specific assignee.</span>
  - Enabling the **Include Completed** checkbox will also display any work order with the **Work Order Status **of **COMPLETED**.
  - The **Work Order **field to search and view work orders based on work order ID for **all branches**<span style="color: #333333">, ignoring all other criteria.</span>
  - <span style="color: #333333">**NOTE**</span><span style="color: #333333">: The Work Order search results will only display transactions of branches within the user's security settings. ie multi-branch, multi-zone, or allowed branches.</span>

<span style="color: #172b4d">Click </span><span style="color: #172b4d">**Find**</span><span style="color: #172b4d"> once your search criteria has been entered to update the results grid.</span>

2. Click **New** to create a new stock-type work order.

## 2. The Results Grid

<span style="color: #333333">The </span><span style="color: #333333">**Results**</span><span style="color: #333333"> grid displays information related to your search results. From here you can:</span>

### 1. Open a Work Order 

<span style="color: #333333">Click the relevant </span>**Order **<span style="color: #333333">hyperlink to view and maintain a work order. </span>

### 2. View <span style="color: #172b4d">the Current Status of your Work orders</span>

From the results grid, you will be able to quickly view information related to your work order.

> ℹ️ Right-clicking on the grid headings will allow you to choose which columns you want to be visible.

| **Field** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Date** | Displays the date the work order was created. |
| **Work Order** | Displays the work order transaction number. Click on the hyperlink to open the [Work Order Maintenance ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28392352) screen. |
| **Branch** | Displays the branch number for the ordering work order. |

| **Customer No. **and **Customer Name** | These display the customer number and customer name the work order is for.<br>> ℹ️ **Stock** work order display as customer number 0. |
| **Linked Transaction** | Displays the **Transaction Number **linked to the Project, Service or Workshop Orders. |
| **Work Order Description** | Displays a **Description **of the work order. |
| **Delivery Address** | Displays the **Delivery Address** that has been added to the Project, Service or Workshop Orders. |
| **Assignee** | Displays the Frameworks user who has been assigned to the work order. |
| **Work Order Status** | Displays if the work order is **IN-PROGRESS **or **COMPLETED**. |
