--- title: "Despatch Calendar - Field Definitions" canonical: "https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/FRAM/28386712/Despatch%20Calendar%20-%20Field%20Definitions" format: markdown --- The **Despatch Calendar** allows you to view and maintain the delivery details of orders due to be despatched over the next 7 days. > ✅ For the full field definitions of calendar events, refer to [Using the Calendar View](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28380162). ## Screen Access From the **Frameworks Menu**, navigate to **Transport Scheduling > Despatch Calendar**. The screen displays deliveries due over the next 7 days (including today), starting with the current day. ## Screen Structure ![image-20261005-024425.png](media://b8d62551-51c1-48f8-89ab-c7221147f245) The **Despatch Calendar** screen is organised into two main sections: 1. [Search Options](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28386712/Despatch+Calendar+-+Field+Definitions#Search-Options): Filter fields used to narrow down which orders display on the calendar. 2. [The Calendar](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28386712/Despatch+Calendar+-+Field+Definitions#The-Calendar): Displays the filtered orders as individual calendar events, and lets you maintain their delivery details. --- ## Search Options Use the **Search Options** to narrow the deliveries shown on the calendar. ### Branch The **Branch** drop-down menu lets you view orders due for delivery for a specific branch or all branches. **Format:** Drop-down menu | **Required:** No | **Editable:** Yes | **Related fields:** The **All Branches** option is only available when **FWBrSecurityEnh** is disabled, or when the user has **Multi Branch** and **Multi Zone** (if zones are used) enabled in User Maintenance. ### Despatch Method The **Despatch Method** field lets you enter a list of despatch method codes, separated by commas, to view orders based on various delivery options. Alternatively, click the search icon to open the multi-selector and select the despatch methods you want. **Format:** Text (comma-separated codes) or multi-selector | **Required:** No | **Editable:** Yes | **Related fields:** None ### Assignee The **Assignee** field filters the calendar to orders assigned to a specific user. Leave this field blank to view orders regardless of assignee. **Format:** Text (user lookup) | **Required:** No | **Editable:** Yes | **Related fields:** None ### Find The **Find** button updates the calendar with all orders matching the **Branch**, **Despatch Method** and **Assignee** fields. **Action:** Click **Find** to update the calendar with matching results. ### Find Order The **Find Order** button opens the **Delivery Order Finder** window, letting you refine your search further by **Customer**, the **Transaction** number or **BO** (backorder) number. ![image-20261006-130123.png](media://02f29867-ea13-40cb-8769-400e983b902b) Click the **Transaction** number hyperlink in this window to open the **Delivery Maintenance** window. **Action:** Click **Find Order** to open the **Delivery Order Finder** window. ### Prev Week / Next Week The **Prev Week** and **Next Week** buttons move the calendar to the previous or next 7-day period. **Action:** Click **Prev Week** or **Next Week** to change the displayed week. --- ## The Calendar The **Calendar** displays delivery information matching your search results as individual calendar events, one per order, shown on its delivery date. Sales orders on **Order Hold** do not appear on the **Calendar**. ### Daily Weight and Volume Summary Each day's column header displays the combined **Weight** and **Volume** of all deliveries scheduled that day, in the format "W: ## V: 0.00". Weight displays as a whole number and Volume displays to two decimal places. This gives transport coordinators and despatch operators a quick indication of the total load for the day, to help with vehicle selection and booking external haulage in advance. **Action:** Click **Find**, or close and reopen the **Despatch Calendar**, to recalculate the daily total. ### Calendar Event Each order due for despatch displays as an individual calendar event on its delivery date. ![image-20261006-130239.png](media://49096d39-6f96-44cd-bb2e-e5715e2b8fe6) Each calendar entry displays its **Weight** and **Volume** directly on the card.
