# <span style="color: #003366">Overview</span>

Once a timber pack has been added to Framework via the [Pack Maintenance ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28386692)dashboard it can then been committed into stock. This process <span style="color: #333333">quickly raises and receipts a Purchase Order (P/O) for the packs selected. Once a timber pack has been committed to stock the status of the pack will be updated to </span><span style="color: #333333">**In Stock**</span><span style="color: #333333"> and can then be added to a sales order at the time of releasing an order.</span>

> ℹ️ <span style="color: #333333">This process explains how to commit </span><span style="color: #333333">**In-Transit**</span><span style="color: #333333"> timber packs to stock.</span>

> ⚠️ Only timber packs which are **In Transit** and are attached to a **Supplier** can be committed into stock

# <span style="color: #003366">Navigating the Commit Pack to Stock Screen</span>

<span style="color: #333333">To access the </span><span style="color: #333333">**Commit Pack to Stock**</span><span style="color: #333333"> Screen, perform the following:</span>

1. Click **Frameworks **then navigate to **Timber Packs > Commit Pack to Stock **from the navigation tree.
2. This will open up the commit pack to stock tab and display all of the current timber packs in transit.  
To refine the results, you can select a specific **Branch **and enter a **Pack No. **to find a specific timber pack then click **Find.**

3. Within the results section you can use the grid filter to also refine your results.

 

# <span style="color: #003366">Commuting Pack to Stock</span>

1. To commit a timber pack to stock, from the **Commit Pack to Stock** tab perform the following:  
In the **Commit to Stock **column tick the packs you wish to add to stock.

> ℹ️ By ticking the Commit to Stock tick box at the top of the column will toggle the result to show only the packs selected, only show the packs that are not selected or show both.

2. Once the timber packs are selected click on the **Commit to Stock** button.
3. Click **Yes - Perform Save** from the popup window. This window advised the timber packs will have a P/O raised and receipted.
