# Overview

The **Contact Tracing** functionality in Frameworks allows you to keep track of any contacts that have been at the business.

# How to Set-Up Contact Tracing

To set up contact tracing, you must enable the contact tracing flags in the system settings. To enable the flags, perform the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **System Administration > System Tables > Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from the navigation tree.
2. In the **Table **search field, enter "system settings" and click **Find**. From the search results below, select **System Settings - Flags**.
3. Underneath the **Flag Purpose **header, in the search field, enter "contact tracing" and enable the **ConTracNum** and **ConTracPrmt **flags.
4. Click **Save**.

# Adding Contact Tracing Details

To access the **Contact Tracing **prompt, perform the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **Sales > Transaction Processing > Point of Sale** from the navigation tree.
2. In the **Contact Tracing **prompt, add the details of the contact. Click **OK**.

| **Field** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Contact Name** | Enter the contact's name. |
| **Additional** | Enter any additional details to help identify the contact. |
| **Phone Number ** | Enter the contact's primary contact number. |

> ⚠️ The **Phone Number **criterion can be made optional by disabling the **ConTracNum **flag in the system settings.

# Viewing Contact Tracing Information

To view a full list of contacts that have been entered, perform the following:

1. Click the** Report Category List** icon to open the **Report Category List Dashboard **and navigate to **Utilities > Contact Tracing **from the navigation tree.
2. In the **Report Criteria **tab, fill in the desired branch and date range and choose output enter.  Click **Submit**.
