> ⚠️ Important: With the release of Frameworks Version 5.0 Release, the following modifications were made to User Maintenance within Frameworks:

# Maintaining a Frameworks User ID

To maintain a Frameworks User ID, from the home **Dashboard** perform the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then navigate to **System Administration > Users & Security > User Maintenance** in the navigation tree.

> ℹ️ The user list does not automatically load. It requires at least one search parameter before commencing a search of User ID/s.

2. Type the **User ID** you wish to modify, then click **Find**. You can also leave the User ID field blank to return all users in the results section.
3. Click on the **UserID** hyperlink to open the **User Maintenance** screen. Use your <**tab**> key to move through the fields and make the necessary updates.

4. Click **Save** once the modifications have been made.

# <span style="color: #003366">Providing an existing User ID with access to the multiple sections within Frameworks</span>

To provide access to the multiple sections within Frameworks (for example, Supplier Maintenance or Customer Payments), you have to add the appropriate Activity ID to the appropriate User Group in ProStix.<span style="color: #003366"> </span>

To do this, from the **Home Dashboard, perform** the following:

1. Identify the activity ID (for example, **customerview** or **homedashboard**) to add to the user's security.

2. Add the **Activity ID** to the appropriate User Group via ProStix.
3. Once complete, confirm the user has the correct access.

# <span style="color: #003366">Providing an existing User ID with access to multiple sections within a Frameworks Dashboard/s </span>

Access is not provided at the section level within any of the Frameworks Dashboards, as the security for a dashboard is configurable at the dashboard level to allow a customer to customise which sections are and are not available at the User Group level.

<span style="color: #333333">To provide access to the multiple sections within Frameworks Dashboard/s (for example, </span><span style="color: #333333">**Trading Terms**</span><span style="color: #333333"> and </span><span style="color: #333333">**Transactions**</span><span style="color: #333333"> and </span><span style="color: #333333">**Account Balances**</span><span style="color: #333333"> in the </span><span style="color: #333333">[Supplier Dashboard](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28397304)</span><span style="color: #333333">), you have to add the appropriate section Activity ID to the appropriate User Group in ProStix.</span>

To do this, from the **Home Dashboard**, perform the following:

1. Identify the relevant Dashboard section Activity ID/s (For example, **supplierTradingTermsView** for **Trading Terms, supplierTransactionListView** for **Transactions** and **supplierAccountBalanceView** for **Account Balances).**

2. Add the **Activity ID** to the appropriate User Group via ProStix.
3. Once complete, confirm the user has the correct access.
