# How to add and Maintain Customer Order Number Rules

To add and maintain the Customer Order Number Rules, perform the following.

> Macro (rw-ui-steps-macro)
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)
> 
> Click **Frameworks **then navigate o **Receivables > Maintenance > Customer Maintenance** from the navigation tree.
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)
> 
> Search for the customer using the **Customer No**. and/or customer name, in the **Search **field, then click **Find**.
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)
> 
> Click the relevant **Number** hyperlink to display the Customer's details on the right pane. Select the relevant tabs to view or modify the Customer details as required.
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)
> 
> Click the **Flags **tab.
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)
> 
> Enable the **Order No. Required **checkbox.
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)
> 
> Click the **Order No. Rules **tab.
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)
> 
> Click **Add**.
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)
> 
> Enter the Required details for the customer order number rules
>

> Repeat step 7 - 8 as required and/or click **Save **to commit any changes.
