Use this screen to search for existing stocktakes, monitor progress, and open a stocktake for processing. ## Screen Access From the **Frameworks Menu**, navigate to **Inventory > Transaction Processing > Stocktake**. ## Screen Structure ![image-20260702-074104.png](media://babc589c-0116-47cb-87bd-15994c631d7f) The **Stocktake Dashboard** is organised into two main sections: 1. [Search Options](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28384012/Stocktake+Dashboard+-+Field+Definitions#Search-Options) - Filter stocktakes by branch, ID and status. 2. [Results Grid](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28384012/Stocktake+Dashboard+-+Field+Definitions#Results-Grid) - Displays the stocktakes matching the search criteria. --- ## Search Options ![image-20260702-074407.png](media://b67e22f5-4e33-4dc6-94ac-a6725b8ec794) The Search Options section lets you filter the stocktakes returned in the Results Grid by branch, stocktake ID and status. ### Branch The **Branch** field determines which branch's stocktakes are returned. Enter the branch number or select a branch from the **Branch** drop-down menu. Select **All Branches** to display stocktakes across every branch. **Format:** Drop-down menu | **Required:** No | **Default:** User's logged-in branch | **Editable:** Yes ### Stocktake The **Stocktake** field locates a specific stocktake by its ID. Enter the stocktake ID directly. The **Stocktake** field does not have a search or lookup option, so the ID must be known and entered in full. **Format:** Numeric | **Required:** No | **Editable:** Yes ### Status The **Status** field filters the **Results Grid** by the current stage of each stocktake. Select a status from the **Status** drop-down menu, or leave the field set to **All Open** to display all active stocktakes. A stocktake moves through the following statuses: - **New** - The stocktake has been created but not yet started. - **Entering** - The stocktake has been started and counts can be entered. - **Pre Analysis** - The **Complete Count** button has been clicked and Frameworks is calculating variances in the background. - **Analysing** - The background task is running and analysing differences and variances. - **Validating** - The stocktake supervisor is reviewing counts and variances. Adjustments to existing counts can be made but no new counts can be added. - **Validated** - Validation is complete. No further adjustments can be made. - **Applied** - Stocktake counts have been applied to stock levels. The stocktake can still be reversed at this stage. - **Closed** - The stocktake has been marked as complete and can no longer be reversed. - **Abandoned** - The stocktake has been scrapped. No further changes can be made and it cannot be applied. **Format:** Drop-down menu | **Required:** No | **Default:** All Open | **Editable:** Yes > ✅ For a full explanation of the stocktake lifecycle and how a stocktake moves between these statuses, refer to [Understanding Stocktake](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/FRAM/701890566/Understanding+Stocktake). ### Find The **Find** button returns the stocktakes matching the branch, stocktake ID and status entered in the **Search Options** section. **Action:** Returns matching stocktakes in the **Results Grid**. ### New The **New** button creates a new stocktake and opens the **Stocktake Maintenance** screen so the stocktake header details can be entered. **Action:** Creates a new stocktake and opens the **Stocktake Maintenance** screen. --- ## Results Grid ![image-20260623-005742.png](media://59378bf2-2c96-4c1e-87ba-1bf343a3faf1) The Results Grid displays all stocktakes matching the search criteria entered in the Search Options section. Click the **Stocktake** hyperlink in any row to open that stocktake in the **Stocktake Maintenance** screen. ### Brn The **Brn** column displays the branch number the stocktake belongs to. **Format:** Numeric (display only) ### Stocktake The **Stocktake** column displays the stocktake ID. Click the **Stocktake** hyperlink to open the stocktake in the **Stocktake Maintenance** screen. **Action:** Opens the selected stocktake in the **Stocktake Maintenance** screen. **Format:** Numeric (hyperlink) ### Full Stocktake The **Full Stocktake** column indicates whether the stocktake is a full stocktake. A full stocktake takes a snapshot of all stock at the branch at the point the stocktake is started. A tick in the **Full Stocktake** column indicates a full stocktake; a blank indicates a normal stocktake that counts specific products only. **Format:** Tick (display only) ### Description The **Description** column displays the description entered when the stocktake was created. The description is used for reference to help identify the stocktake. **Format:** Text (display only) ### Status The **Status** column displays the current stage of the stocktake, such as **New**, **Entering**, **Validating**, **Applied** or **Closed**.
