# <span style="color: #003366">Overview</span>

**Transport Planning** is used by Transport Managers to allocate vehicles to Transport Orders.

# <span style="color: #003366">Transport Planning header</span>

The transport planning header section has the following options:

> Macro (div)
> 
> - **Site: **Filter the transport plan to display only the selected sites transport plan.
> - **Refresh: **Click to manually refresh the Transport Plan screen containing all the orders scheduled for delivery for that day.
> - **Interval (Sec): **Displays the automatic refresh rate of the screen.

## <span style="color: #003366">Transport Plan</span>

The left side of the screen displays the **Transport Plan** containing all the orders scheduled for delivery for that day and provides information about these orders.

> - Click the **Pencil **icon beside each vehicle to update the **Transport Planning Maintenance** screen.
> - Click the **Delete **icon beside each vehicle to remove the vehicle from the delivery.

| --- | --- |
| **Site** | Displays the short code for the site. It is auto populated from table **Central Allocation Sites** in [Miscellaneous Table Maintenance](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/FRAM/596018022/Miscellaneous+Table+Maintenance).<br>> ✅ Refer to [Central Allocations - Setup and Configuration](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/FRAM/609847215/Central+Allocations+-+Setup+and+Configuration) for further information. |
| **Sales Orders** | Displays the Transport Order number. |
| **Customer** | Displays the customer who made the order from the **Transport Order Entry**. |
| **Time** | Displays the expected time of delivery from the **Transport Order Entry**. |
| **Product** | Displays the product ordered from the **Transport Order Entry**. |
| **Order (TN)** | Displays the delivery quantity, in tonnes, required from the **Transport Order Entry**. |
| **Rego** | Displays the registration id of the vehicle allocated to the delivery. |
| **# Runs** | Displays the number of runs the vehicle has been allocated to the order. |
| **Load (TN): ** | Displays the load capacity, in tonnes, of the vehicle selected for delivery from [Vehicle Maintenance](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/FRAM/610436048/Vehicles+Maintenance). |
| **Unall (TN)** | Displays the remaining unallocated quantity, in tonnes, of material that is still to be assigned to a vehicle. |

# <span style="color: #003366">Available Vehicles</span>

The right-hand side of the screen displays all **Available Vehicles** and provides information about them.

> - Click **New Vehicle** to add a new vehicle to Central Allocations. Newly created vehicles appear instantly in the *Available Vehicles* grid (as long as they have been checked to "Allow Scheduling").
> - Click the **Pencil **icon beside each vehicle to update the vehicle details.

| **Cap.** | Displays the load capacity of each vehicle (measured in tonnes). |
| **Company** | Displays the sub-contractor who owns the vehicle (blank for your own vehicles) |
| **Runs** | Displays how many runs this vehicle has been assigned to on this day.<br>> ℹ️ Click the # Runs hyperlink beside each vehicle to view details of the runs allocated to a vehicle via a Vehicle Plan Summary pop up Screen. |

# <span style="color: #003366">Vehicle Runs</span>

The **Vehicle Plan Summary** pop-up screen provides information about the selected vehicles runs for the day.

| **Config** | Populated based on the vehicle that has been allocated. |
| **#Runs** | Displays how many runs this vehicle has been assigned to on this day. |
| **Distance km** | Delivery distance, populated from the Transport Order. |
| **Qty Transported** | Qty Transported for this vehicle in tonnes. |
| **Time Reqd** | Delivery time required at the site. |
| **Total Load Time hrs** | Calculated by: (Runs X "Misc Table CENTRAL ALLOCATION DELIVERY SETTINGS: Loading Allowance") converted to hours rounded to two decimal places |
| **Total Unload Time hrs** | Calculated by: (Runs X "Misc Table CENTRAL ALLOCATION DELIVERY SETTINGS: Unoading Allowance") converted to hours rounded to two decimal places |
| **Total Delivery Time hrs** | Calculated by: (Runs X Transport Order Travel Time) converted to hours rounded to two decimal places |
| **Total Time hrs** | Total Load Time + Total Unload Time + Total Delivery Time |

# <span style="color: #003366">Planning and allocating a vehicle to a Transport Order</span><span style="color: #333333"> </span>  


<span style="color: #333333">To open a transport plan for a particular day, perform the following:</span>

1. Click **Frameworks **then navigate to **Central Allocations > Transport Planning **from the navigation tree.
2. All the days in the current calendar month are displayed. Adjust as needed via the calendar arrows or finder > Macro (inline-media-image)

3. Click any day on the calendar to open the **Transport Plan** for that day to allocate a vehicle to a particular Transport Order.
4. Select the vehicle with sufficient capacity (TN) for the Order (TN)*,* then drag & drop it onto the appropriate Transport Order line.

> ℹ️ The same vehicle can be assigned to multiple orders and an order have multiple vehicles assigned to it.

5. The **Transport Planning Maintenance** screen is then displayed. Updated the required fields:
  - **Driver:** Enter in the** driver's name** for the delivery.
  - **Rego:** The Rego field displays the vehicle selected to deliver the product. If required adjust as needed via the drop down arrow.
  - **Configuration:** Assign the vehicle configuration needed to deliver the product via the drop down arrow. A **Suggested Config** will be displayed if one was defined in the transport order.
  - **#Runs:** Enter the number of trips required to deliver the unallocated quantity.
6. Click **Save **to complete allocating the driver and vehicle to the Transport Order and close the **Transport Planning Maintenance** screen.
7. Repeat steps 4 - 6 to allocate drivers and vehicles to additional Transport Orders.
8. Once an order is fully allocated, the **Unall (TM)** field will turn green. If the order is over allocated the field will instead turn red.

# <span style="color: #003366">Updating a driver, registration, vehicle configuration or #runs from a Transport Order</span>

To update the driver, registration, vehicle configuration or # Runs from a Transport Order, perform the following:

1. Highlight the order you would like to update.
2. Click the **Pencil **icon on the right-hand side of the order line.
3. Update as needed.
4. Click **Save**.

# <span style="color: #003366">Removing a vehicle from a Transport Order</span>

To remove a vehicle from an order, perform the following:

1. Highlight the order you would like to delete the vehicle from.
2. Click the **Remove **icon on the right-hand side of the line.
3. Click **Yes-Perform Delete**.

# <span style="color: #003366">About the colour coding scheme for the Unall (TN) column</span>

The **Unall (TN)** column adheres to the following colour code scheme:

> Macro (div)
> 
> - The **Load (TN)** column is auto-populated with the load capacity of the vehicle selected.
> - The **Unall (TN)** column automatically deducts the value of the vehicles load capacity from the un-allocated quantity once per run, therefore displaying the remaining order quantity to be allocated.

> ℹ️ **For example:** if the order total is 100 TN and a vehicle with a capacity of 20 TN<span style="color: #ff0000"> </span><span style="color: #333333">is added to the order with 2 runs allocated, the unallocated qty will display 60.</span>

| **Colour** | **Description** | **What should you do?** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| <span style="color: #ffcc00">**Yellow**</span> | There is un-allocated material for this order | More vehicles are required to satisfy the delivery requirements of the order. Assign more vehicles to the order. |
| <span style="color: #00ff00">**Green**</span> | All the material has been allocated to vehicles for this order | No more vehicles are required to be assigned to this order. All material will be delivered with minimal space wastage. |
| <span style="color: #ff0000">**Red**</span> | There is an over-allocation of vehicles to this order | More vehicle capacity then required has been added to this order. A reshuffling of vehicle assigning may be recommended to reduce the unused space. |
