This option allows you to set up and define a delivery fee surcharge for the delivery of orders based on the value of the order and released date. This surcharge is calculated and added to the customers **Default Delivery **fee (if one is defined) at the time of order release and will be added to the customers invoice.

> ⚠️ **Important**: This is for ACCOUNT CUSTOMERS ONLY.
> ⚠️
> ⚠️ To be able to use delivery fee surcharges you will need to have defined the following **System Settings**
> ⚠️
> ⚠️ - **System Setting - Numeric: **The numeric value for **DelDayTime** needs to be defined for the same-day charge cutoff time (in seconds). *36,000 (10 hours) is a good starting value.*

The available configurable settings are:

- **Company**: Enter the Company ID you want the delivery surcharge to be applied to.
- **Order Value**: All sales from this value until the next break value will have this delivery fee added to any other delivery fees in use.  Must be a positive value but may be zero.
- **Same** **Day**: Same Day delivery fee. Must be a positive value but may be zero. Same-day delivery is defined as any order that is marked for delivery and is released to the sales update queue on the same day as the order was raised. The cutoff time for same-day delivery uses the **DelDayTime **value as defined in the **System Setting - Numeric. **
- **Future** **Delivery**: Future delivery fee. It must be a positive value, however, it may be zero.

> **Example**:
>
> With the above screenshot the following is true:
>
> - If the **sales order value **is between **$1 - $49.99** and delivered on the **same day** as it was ordered the customer will be charged a **$20 surcharge**. If delivered the **next day** or **later** a **$15 surcharge** will be added.
> - If the **sales order value **is between **$50 - $199.99** and delivered on the **same day** as it was ordered the customer will be charged a **$15 surcharge**. If delivered the **next day** or **later** a **$10 surcharge** will be added.
> - If the **sales order value **is **$200 or more** there will be **no surcharge.**
