# Overview

The **Customer Orders Dashboard** allows you to view a quick summary of all existing customer orders, maintain existing customer orders and create new ones.

# Accessing the Customer Orders Dashboard

To access the **Customer Orders Dashboard**, complete the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **Sales** > **Transaction Processing** > **Customer Orders** from the navigation tree.

# Navigating the Customer Orders Dashboard

The **Customer Orders Dashboard** is made up of 2 main sections:

1. The Search Options
2. The Results Grid

## The Search Options

From here you can perform either of the following:

1. Search for Existing Customer Orders
2. Create a New Customer Order

### 1. Search for Existing Customer Orders

Use any of the following fields:

> Macro (include)

- In the **Order #** field, enter the order number.
- In the **Customer Order #** field, enter the customer number.
- Select the **Status** from the dropdown menu.
- In the **Assigned To** field, enter the user ID or use the **Search **icon.

And, click **Find** to return a list of customer orders.

### 2. Create a New Customer Order

- Click **New** to create a new customer order.

## The Results Grid

Contains a list of customer orders that match the search criteria.

- Click the **Order** hyperlink to open the order and view the order in more detail and make any necessary changes.

| **Header** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Order** | Automatically assigned order number. Click the hyperlink to open the order and view more details. |
| **Cust Order** | Order reference number. |
| **Sales Order** | The order number of the associated sales order. |
| **SOP Status** | The status of the associated sales order. |
| **Imported Date** | The date the order was imported, if relevant.<br>> ℹ️ Customer orders can now be imported in bulk through the [OCR Import Customer Orders](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/122355716) scheduled task. Once the import task is executed, the imported customer orders will be displayed in the Results Grid. You can use this column to filter and easily locate recent orders for review and additional processing. |
| **Order Date** | The date the order was made. |
| **Cust #** | The customer's number. |
| **Customer Name** | The customer's name. |
| **Delivery Address** | The address the order is to be delivered. |
| **Deliv Date** | The date the order is required. |
| **Contact** | Person to contact regarding despatch. |
| **Assign** | User the order is currently assigned to. |
| **Brn ** | The supplying branch. |

| **Lead ** | The lead time for the order. The lead time is the amount of time between the creation of the order to its receival. |
| **Status** | The status of the customer order. |
| **Total (Ex)** | The total value of the order excluding GST. |
| **Validation Message** | Automatically generated messages based on availability of stock, pricing, etc. |
