--- title: "Branch Stocks" canonical: "https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/FRAM/28379214/Branch%20Stocks" format: markdown --- # Branch Stocks The **Branch Stocks** section of the **Product Dashboard** displays basic stock information for the selected product across branches, including quantity on hand, consignment stock, stock on order and costing data. The **Branch Stocks** section allows users to quickly compare stock levels and availability across multiple branches without opening each branch individually. To view detailed stock information for a branch, click the relevant **Branch Name** hyperlink. > ✅ Refer to [View detailed stock information](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28379634) for more information. ## Screen access From the **Frameworks Menu,** navigate to **Inventory > Enquiries > Product Dashboard**, select a product from the search results, then expand the **Branch Stocks** section. ## Screen Section Structure ![image-20260420-214746.png](media://2bb9d75a-e4e6-4872-91ba-632198a7d980) The **Branch Stocks** section is organised into three main areas: 1. **Branch Identification** - Branch number and name, with drill-down access to detailed stock information. 2. **Stock and Order Information** - Current stock, consignment, purchase order and customer order quantities, and unit of measure. 3. **Costing and Sales Information** - Branch average cost, monthly sales average, last buy cost and excess stock. A totals row at the bottom of the section displays aggregated values across all displayed branches. ## Branch Identification ### Brn The **Brn** column displays the branch number assigned to each branch in **Branch Maintenance**. The branch number is the unique identifier used throughout Frameworks to reference the branch. **Format:** Numeric | **Editable:** No (display only) ### Branch Name The **Branch Name** column displays the name of each branch. Click the **Branch Name** hyperlink to open the **View detailed stock information** screen for that branch. The **Branch Name** hyperlink may be disabled (greyed out) for branches the user does not have security access to drill into. **Format:** Text hyperlink | **Editable:** No (display only) **Related settings:** The [FWBrSecurityEnh](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FSS/pages/13198721) and [ProdBrnShowAll](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FSS/pages/116195382) system flags determine which branches are displayed and which support drill-down. --- ## Stock and Order Information ### On Hand The **On Hand** column displays the current quantity of the product available at the branch. The **On Hand** value reflects the branch's live stock position and updates as transactions are processed. **Format:** Numeric (decimal) | **Editable:** No (display only) ### On Consign The **On Consign** column displays the quantity of the product held at the branch on consignment. Consignment stock is owned by the supplier and is only invoiced when sold or consumed. **Format:** Numeric (decimal) | **Editable:** No (display only) ### On P/O The **On P/O** column displays the quantity of the product on existing open Purchase Orders for the branch. The **On P/O** value is calculated by the **QtyOnOrder** scheduled task and reflects stock that has been ordered from suppliers but not yet received. **Format:** Numeric (decimal) | **Editable:** No (display only) **Related:** The **QtyOnOrder** scheduled task must be running for **On P/O** values to remain current. ### On C/O The **On C/O** column displays the quantity of the product on existing open Customer Orders for the branch. The **On C/O** value is calculated by the **QtyOnOrder** scheduled task and reflects stock that has been committed to customer orders but not yet despatched. **Format:** Numeric (decimal) | **Editable:** No (display only) **Related:** The **QtyOnOrder** scheduled task must be running for **On C/O** values to remain current. ### UM The **UM** column displays the stocking unit of measure for the product, such as "lm" (lineal metres), "ea" (each) or "m2" (square metres). The unit of measure is configured in **Product Maintenance** and is the same across all branches. **Format:** Text (abbreviation) | **Editable:** No (display only) --- ## Costing and Sales Information ### Average Cost The **Average Cost** column displays the branch average cost of the product. The average cost is calculated at the branch level and is used for stock valuation and cost-based reporting. **Format:** Currency (four decimal places) | **Editable:** No (display only) ### Avg Mth Sales (Curr YTD) The **Avg Mth Sales (Curr YTD)** column displays the average number of product sales per month at the branch for the current financial year to date. The value is expressed in the product's stocking unit of measure. **Format:** Numeric (decimal) | **Editable:** No (display only) ### Last Buy Cost The **Last Buy Cost** column displays the most recent purchase cost of the product at the branch. The **Last Buy Cost** value is updated each time stock is receipted for the branch. **Format:** Currency (four decimal places) | **Editable:** No (display only) ### Excess Stock The **Excess Stock** column displays the current quantity of excess stock at the branch. Excess stock is stock held in quantities above the configured reorder levels for the branch. **Format:** Numeric (decimal) | **Editable:** No (display only) --- ## Totals Row The row at the bottom of the **Branch Stocks** section displays aggregated totals across all displayed branches for **On Hand**, **On Consign**, **On P/O**, **On C/O** and **Excess Stock**.
