The **Product Dashboard** provides you with key information about products, product pricing, and stock. No matter what stock-related task you're performing in Frameworks, the Product Dashboard can be used to view key information to assist you. Details include:
- Product descriptive details
- Cost and sell along with pending price changes
- Where applicable, valid lengths, length surcharges and other surcharges
- Branch stocks
- Product sales history
- Product suppliers
- Product discounts
- Product contracts/promotions
# Accessing the Product Dashboard
There are a number of ways for you to access the **Product Dashboard** screen. These are:
1. Click the **Product Dashboard** icon from the top middle section of the Frameworks Home Dashboard to access the **Product Dashboard**.
2. Click the **Frameworks Menu** then navigate to **Product Scheduling > Transaction Processing > Product Dashboard **from the** **navigation tree.
3. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and enter **Product Dashboard** into the **Search Box.**
# Using the Product Dashboard
To use the **Product Dashboard**, perform the following:
1. Access the **Product Dashboard **screen**.**
2. Using the **Search **field, you can search for a product using either the product ID or description.

1. **Branch Selection**: Search by All Branches or narrow your search by selecting a specific branch.
2. **Product Code Field**: Search by product code, alternate code, barcode or catalogue number to find the desired product.
3. **Search Field**: Search by product description or product ID to find the desired product.
4. **Search Results**: List of products that match the search terms with key information.
5. **Recently Viewed Products**: List of recently viewed products. Click the hyperlink to view more information
6. **Product Hyperlink**: Click to view more information about the chosen product.
7. **Buttons**: Will open a new tab to view more tailored information.
3. Click the hyperlink of your desired product to open a new screen with more detailed information.

1. **Product Details**: Provides product details including the product ID, description, stock on hand/consignment, retail price, customer price and discount prices (including and excluding GST), including preferred Suppliers etc.
- The **Stock Movements** button takes you to **Product Movement Enquiry** which allows you to view stock movements of the product at this branch.
- The **Price Enquiry** button takes you to **Customer Price Enquiry** which allows you to quickly lookup product prices available to customers or the product price for a specific customer.
- The **Pack Enquiry** button takes you to **Product Pack Enquiry** which allows you to enquire about timber packs for this product
2. **Branch Stocks**: Provides basic stock information for the selected product, but only for each branch that the user is authorised to access. If you click the **Branch Name** link, you are taken to the stock data for that branch which allows you to view further stock information.
3. **Product Information**: Provides product information including datasheet, diary notes and attributes related information for the product selected.
4. **Surcharges**: Provides length and other surcharge information including the list of valid lengths and their prices for length tally products such as timber or docked, printed and so on.
5. **Discounts**: Provides pricing information for discount groups set up and also customer volume discount percentages for the selected product.
6. **Child Products**: If a product has multiple stock keeping units (SKUs), the child products will be listed here.
7. **Cost Prices**: Provides the various cost prices for the selected product, including foreign costs (if applicable), landed costs, branch costs, supplier costs, standard costs and maximum discounts. When market cost UOM conversion is in use, the market cost values displayed here reflect the converted cost in the product's stocking UOM.
8. **Sales History**: Provides the sales history of the product at the user's branch for the past three years. The current year average is calculated on the number of full months. That is, in August you would add up the figures for Jan to July and divide by 7.
9. **Suppliers**: Provides supplier information for the selected product including the supplier pricing for this product, the supplier's catalogue number and barcode.
The information for the highlighted supplier is displayed, initially the preferred supplier. Simply click another supplier to view information for that supplier.
10. **Contracts / Promotions**: Provides any current contracts and promotions that the selected product has been included in.

# How do I?
Navigate the Product Dashboard
- The left side of the screen contains the search options.
- The right side of the screen contains the **Recently Selected** Suppliers and **Actions** available.
- When a **Product ID** is typed in or searched for, you are immediately provided with details for that product.
- When a **Product ID** is typed in or searched for and the resulting hyperlink has been clicked, the entire product details for that product are displayed on the screen.
- Open and close any of the Product dashboard sections by simply clicking them.

Enquire on Stock Movements
The **Stock Movements** button (in the **Product Details** section) takes you to **Product Movement Enquiry** which allows you to view historical movements and related information for the product selected.
Enquire on Customer Prices
The **Price Enquiry** button (in the **Product Details** section) takes you to **Customer Price Enquiry** which allows you to view specific linked contracts and promotions related to this product.
Enquire on Product Packs
The **Pack Enquiry** button (in the **Product Details** section) takes you to **Product Pack Enquiry** which allows you to view detailed information about the contents of a timber pack including location, cost and specific pack contents.
