#### Credit Data Fields

- **Credit Status: **Displays the credit status of this customer.
  Valid responses are:
  - **Active**. An active customer is permitted to trade within the agreed limits.
  - **Suspended**. If you try to create or invoice a sale for a suspended customer, the system issues a warning. This warning may be ignored when creating an order, however, if attempting to invoice an order, authority is required.
  - **[Hold](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28377252/Receivables+Terminology#Hold-(also-referred-to-as-Stop-Credit))**** **(also referred to as** Stop Credit**). If a customer is held, you are not able to create or action an order or invoice.
- **Date Opened**: Displays the date the selected customer account was opened. It is for information only and is not used in any other programs or reports.
- **Credit Limit**: Displays the $ value for the credit limit. A credit limit may be allocated to a Customer and once the Customer account reaches this limit, if an attempt is made to process an order, credit approval is required from a supervisor.
If a customer is beyond their credit limit, each sales transaction will require authorisation by a supervisor.

> ⚠️ Note: The **Remote Credit Approval** feature will be implemented in a future release of Frameworks.

> ✅ Refer to [Credit Limit](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/FRAM/580911630/Credit+Limit) for further information.

- **Defer Sales Limit**: Displays a dollar (**$**) amount for the customers deferred sales limit.
When **PosDefer **flag** **is set to yes, and a POS Account Sale is Suspended, the system will prompt the user if the sale is being deferred. If so, it will check the Deferred Sale Limit before it allows it.
- **Approved By**: Displays the user ID for the person who approved the credit details of the account.
- **Credit Grace**: Displays a dollar (**$**) amount defined where a customer is allowed to exceed their set credit limit before orders are stopped. This also serves as the maximum $ that a customer can have in ages greater than their **'Credit Age'** before they are considered outside their terms and are treated as though suspended. That is, how much can a customer short pay their account by before being considered outside terms.
If a customer is beyond their credit grace, each sales transaction will require authorisation by a supervisor. Refer to **Customer's Credit Grace, Credit Limit, Credit Status **and/or **Credit Age in Tendering Payments **for further information.

As an example of how this works with the standard credit check:
  - Customer 1's account has a credit limit of $1,000 and a credit grace of $50. Their balance due is $1,035. Grace dictates they don't go on suspend because they haven't gone over $1,050.
  - Customer 2's account is 30 Days and they have a limit of $500 with grace of $50. Their balance owing is only $25 but it's in 90 days. Grace applies here again to say they can have up to $50 outside terms and they don't go on hold.

> ⚠️ **Zero (0)** in this field indicates that this type of credit checking is not active for this Customer.

- **Payment Terms**: Displays the number of days from statement date until payment is due from the Customer. The system loads 30 days as a default.
- **Payment Days: **Displays the actual number of days the Customer is allowed to pay their account. This is then used as part of the [Customer Credit Update](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/prostix/pages/31096916) process to determine if a Customer's credit status should be changed to suspend or hold.
- **Sales Average: **Displays the average monthly sales for this Customer.
- **Last Payment: **Displays the date that the last payment was posted for this Customer.
- **Amount** **Paid:	**Displays the amount of the last payment.
- **Bank Name: **Displays the name of the Customer's bank (For example. Westpac, NAB). The data typed into this field should refer to the bank at which the Customer's cheque account is held and is used when receipting payments from the Customer. The information is used to produce a bank deposit list.
- **Bank Branch: **Displays the branch at which the Customer's cheque account is held and is used when receipting payments from the Customer. This information is used to produce a bank deposit list.
- **Account Name: **Displays the name that the Customer's cheque account is held in. The name typed into this field is used when receipting payments from the Customer. The information is then used to produce a bank deposit list.

**Credit References**
