# Overview

The **Customer Details** section provides general customer information including Customer ID, a message for the selected customer, contact, address and billing information.

# Customer Details Sections

The **Customer Details **section has two parts, these are:

## 1. Customer Details

The customer details displayed in this section is a quick overview of important information at a glance. To make changes to the details displayed here click on the Maintain button.

**Message**

This displays a message about the customer you want your staff to see, this might be a warning or just a heads up.

**Customer ID and Name**

These fields display the Customers ID number and name.

**Attachments or Paperclip icon**

- Click the **Attachments **icon to open the **Attachments **window and attach files and documents related to the customer.
- Click the **Paperclip **icon, if there are files and documents already attached to the customer.

**Credit status**

This displays the customers credit status based on the customers **Credit Data.**

**Business and Postal Addresses**

These fields display the customers postal address and main business address.

**Main Contact Details**

These fields display the main contacts details such as names, phone numbers, email address and website.

**BPAY Information**

If you have BPAY configured these fields will display the BPAY Reference and Biller Code assigned to them.

**BPAY Reference number**

If a **Biller Code **has been defined in the [Company Maintenance](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/FRAM/595788530/Company+Maintenance), by default the customer's BPAY Reference number will be created as such:

- *Zero (0) - Customer ID - Randomly Generated Number*. For example, if the customer id is 71144 the BPAY Reference Number might be 0711442

**BPAY Reference Number via API**

You can use the following Frameworks API's to allow for a 3rd Party system to maintain your customer's BPAY Reference Numbers. 

- GET/v1/customer/details
- POST/v1/customer/create
- POST/v1/customer/update

When used the above default method will be overwritten by the API defined BPAY Reference Number.

## 2. Maintenance Buttons

The following buttons will help to maintain and update your customer information and customers.

1. Click **Maintain**, which takes you to [Customer Maintenance](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/FRAM/13074455/Customer+Maintenance) screen allowing you to maintain the customer information.

2. Click the button will open the **Send Message** screen allowing you to send a notification SMS to the customer.

3. Click the button to take you to the Audit Enquiry screen and automatically populate the **Entity/Table** and **Customer Code **fields.
