# Overview

After logging into Framework or opening **My Printer Configuration, **following an update to QZ Tray, you may be prompted with the window below.

# How to update the QZ Tray software

If you get the window above, click **OK **and perform the following:

1. From the **User Details **menu, in the top right, select **My Printer Configuration.**
2. Click the **Download QZ Tray **hyperlink.
  
3. Install the updated version of the QZ Tray, by performing the following:
  1. Save the file to your computer.
  2. Open the downloaded .exe file.
  3. Follow the default prompts. For example: **Click Next > Install > Close.**

> ⚠️ **Note**: You may need admin access on you PC to install this. Reach out to your IT department.

4. After the installation is complete, a Frameworks message stating that QZ Tray stopped during an upgrade will appear. Click **OK **once upgraded.

5. Sill in the **My Printer Configuration **window, click **Connect QZ Tray **to reconnect Frameworks to your local print service.

> ℹ️ If connected correctly the greyed out **QZ Tray Loaded **and **Printers Found** checkboxes will be enabled.

6. Click **Save **once it is all connected to save your changes.
