<span style="color: #333333">When a notification has been created by Frameworks or by a user, it appears in the </span><span style="color: #333333">**Notifications**</span><span style="color: #333333"> section of the </span>[Frameworks Home Dashboard](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/FRAM/445382659/About+the+Frameworks+Home+Dashboard). <span style="color: #333333"> These notifications also appear as pop ups when they are first created and/or generated.</span>

> ℹ️ Notifications are specific only to the logged in user.

Frameworks provides you with prompts and messages by way of:

- **Diary note** **notifications** (user generated)
- **Report notifications** including errors (system generated) and
- **Workflow activity notifications** (system generated)

Common notifications you may receive include:

- <span style="color: #222222">Once a stock receipt has been completed for a purchase order</span>
- <span style="color: #222222">When a sales order has been assigned to you</span>
- <span style="color: #222222">When a GL posting has been made </span>
- <span style="color: #222222">Assignment of a Sales Order</span>
- <span style="color: #222222">Assignment of a Purchase Order</span>
- <span style="color: #222222">Assignment of a Stock Adjustment</span>
- <span style="color: #222222">Receipting of a linked Purchase Order</span>
- <span style="color: #222222">Deletion of a Branch Transfer line</span>

> ⚠️ When a scheduled task fails, the user who ran the task will receive a notification.

# <span style="color: #003366">About the Notification Links and Information Icons</span>

<span style="color: #333333">Notifications may also contain links to click to view a report or open/launch a specific function. Additional notification actions will be released, however will always operate in a similar manner.</span>

> 📝 **For example**: For completed **report** notifications, you are also able to click the relevant report link to view the PDF report.

## Notification Link

When notifications are sent from the following events, a link is added to the notification that launches the associated activity.

### Sample Notification Messages

- **Call Sheets from the Customer Dashboard**:** **Launches the Customer Dashboard.

> Sample notification text: 
> 
> "Next call for customer &1 is due."

- **Customer Orders Assignee**:  Launches Central Order Maintenance.

> Sample notification text: 
> 
> *"Customer Order [&1] has been assigned to you."*

- **Purchase Order Maintenance: **Launches Purchase order Maintenance.

> Sample notification text: 
> 
> "&1 has assigned &2 &3 to you."

- **Purchase Order Receipting: **Launches Sales Order Maintenance.

> Sample notification text: 
> 
> Goods have been receipted for sales order " ... " which is currently assigned to you."

- **Sales Order Maintenance**: Launches Sales Order Maintenance.

> Sample notification text:   
> "&1 has assigned &2 &3 to you."

- **Sales Order Maintenance**: Launches Purchase order Maintenance.

> Sample notification text: 
> 
> "Product &1 has been removed from your branch transfer p/order &2 by the supplying branch

- **Stock Adjustment Maintenance**: Launches: Stock Adjustment Maintenance.

> Sample notification text:
> 
> "Stock Adjustment [&1] has been assigned to you."

## <span style="color: #333333">Notification Information</span>

<span style="color: #333333">For the above specific notifications, you are also able to click the </span><span style="color: #333333">**Information **</span><span style="color: #333333">icon to review the notification details and to open the associated activity.</span>

> 📝 **For example:** For Purchase Order Receipting, the following screen is displayed, allowing you to open Sales Order Maintenance.

# <span style="color: #003366">Acknowledging Notifications</span>

You are required to **acknowledge** notifications for them to no longer appear in the **Notifications** section of the [Frameworks Home Dashboard](https://kb.myframeworks.com.au/space/FRAM/445382659/About+the+Frameworks+Home+Dashboard).

<span style="color: #333333">To acknowledge selected notifications, perform the following:</span>

1. <span style="color: #333333">Enable the checkbox next to each notification you would like to acknowledge.</span>
2. <span style="color: #333333">Select </span>**Acknowledged Selected** to acknowledge only those notifications selected.

To acknowledge all notifications, perform the following:

1. Click **Select All**.
2. Select **Acknowledged Selected** to acknowledge all notifications selected.
3. If needed, click **Deselect All** to deselect all notifications.

# <span style="color: #003366">Refreshing Notifications</span>

To get a screen of fresh notifications, click the **Refresh **icon on the Notifications bar.
