# Overview

We’re excited to announce an upgrade to Frameworks, bringing powerful new Data and Reporting capabilities. As part of this enhancement, Frameworks will move to a new web address for improved performance and access to new features. This is a one-time setup—after completing the steps in this guide, you’ll be ready to take advantage of the latest improvements. Please follow the instructions below to prepare for the change, update your bookmarks, and ensure your printer configurations and device settings are ready for a smooth transition.

> ⚠️ **Important: **This document assumes that you are already running **QZ Tray **for your printer setup. If not we recommend performing the [QZ Tray Setup](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378436).

## Day Before the Change

### 1. Export your My Printer Configurations

To make it easier to configure your printers on the day of the change, we recommend that you export your **My Printer Configurations** printer list.

1. From the **System Menu **dropdown, in the top right of the screen, select **My Printer Configuration**.
2. **Right Click** in the printer list grid.
3. From the menu, select **Export as > Excel (.xlsx)** or **CSV (.csv).**

This will download a copy of the **ttPrinter.xlsx** or **ttPrinter.csv** file. **Save **this file to a secure location, on your PC, and **open **the file to confirm the correct information was exported.

### 2. Confirm and Record your Device ID Allocation

For workstations connected to peripherals devices, for example EFTPOS pin pads, its important to take note of its **Device ID** **Allocation **so it can be reset to its original value on the day of the change.

1. Your **Device **is displayed in the top right of the screen. In this example the ID is **POS01**

### 1. Update your Bookmarks:

As part of our upcoming improvements to data and reporting capabilities, the way you access Frameworks will be changing. Your current URL:

will be updated to:

Once you are redirected, on the day, please update any bookmarks or saved links to ensure continued access once this change takes effect.

> ⚠️ **Note**: In the updated URL, the ‘fw-’ prefix will be removed from the site ID section and will no longer be used.

### 2. Reconfigure your Printers (after logging in):

You will need to re configure your printer definitions by visiting the **My Printer Configurations** menu.
