The **Address Lookup** field provides address autocomplete functionality powered by Addressify, enabling fast and accurate address entry with automatic population of suburb/city, state, postcode, and country fields.

> 📝 - Addressify integration is enabled and configured by your system administrator
> 📝 - The **Address Lookup** field is available in delivery address entry screens

## Where This Applies

This procedure applies to delivery address entry in:

- Sales Order Processing (delivery address entry for quotes and orders)
- Point of Sale (delivery address entry)
- Runsheet Maintenance > Delivery Maintenance (creating or editing customer delivery addresses)

## Add an Address

1. Navigate to the delivery address section in your current screen (Sales Order, POS, or Delivery Maintenance)
2. Locate the **Address Lookup** field at the top of the delivery address section

3. In the **Address Lookup** field, begin typing the street address or suburb
4. As you type, a dropdown list of matching address suggestions appears
5. Select the correct address from the dropdown suggestions
6. The address fields automatically populate:
  - Street address
  - Suburb/City
  - State
  - Postcode
  - Country
7. Verify the populated address details are correct and complete the transaction

## Result

The delivery address is populated accurately with validated address data from Addressify. The suburb/city, state, postcode, and country fields are automatically completed, reducing manual data entry and minimising address errors.

## Alternative: Manual Address Entry

If the **Address Lookup** field does not return the correct address, or if you prefer manual entry:

1. Leave the **Address Lookup** field blank or clear it
2. Enter the address details manually in the standard address fields:
  - Street address
  - Suburb/City
  - State
  - Postcode
  - Country
3. Complete the transaction

Manual address entry is always available as an alternative to using the **Address Lookup** field.
