Remove a customer record from Frameworks when the customer is no longer active and has no outstanding transactions.

> 📝 ## Prerequisites
> 📝 
> 📝 - User permissions for customer deletion
> 📝 - Customer has no open transactions
> 📝 - Customer balance is zero
> 📝 - All transactions are closed and final balances are paid

Customers with open transactions or outstanding balances cannot be deleted. Customers with lost quotes, archived accepted quotes or voided POS transactions can still be deleted.

## Steps

1. Navigate to **Receivables > Maintenance > Customer Maintenance**.
2. In the **Search** field, enter part of the customer name or customer number, then click **Find** to search (or click **Find** directly to display all customers).
3. Locate the customer you want to delete from Frameworks.
4. Click **Delete** to remove the customer record from Frameworks.

## Result

The customer record is permanently removed from Frameworks. The customer will no longer appear in customer searches or lists.
