1. In the product entry section, scan or enter the **product ID**, or click **Search **to use the [Product Finder](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fwksproau/pages/30531076) or [Product Multi Selection](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fwksproau/pages/30530036) to add the tally product.
2. For products identified as a tally product, the **Tally **field and **Tally **button will be enabled. There are two options to add in the product quantity and lengths.

> ℹ️ **Note**: You can add a tally parent product in the **Product** field and set the quantity and length(s), which will then be replaced by its child products in the transaction. Keep in mind that Parent Tally products cannot be sold on their own.

> ℹ️ If the **Tally Entry Popup** checkbox has been ticked under the user's [User Maintenance Screen - Field Definitions](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378032) screen, the **Tally Maintenance** window will automatically open.
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ **Note:** Multiple units of measure for a product or multi-select products will bypass the tally popup.

**Option 1** 

1. Click the **Tally **button to open the **Tally Maintenance** window.
2. Use the **Add **button to enter the **Quantity **and **Length. **

**Unit Price**

Enter a **unit price **for the tally product. This defaults to the **Branch Sell** price in the **Product Branch Pricing **section in [Product Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378114).

**Discount %** 	

Enter a **discount %** amount to be added to the unit price.

**Line Price	**

Enter a **line price** for the total quantity of product added. Once added to the order the unit price will be updated accordingly. 

> ℹ️ If a **Line Price** is entered, then the **Unit Price** and **Discount %** needs to be **0**.

**Quantity	**

Enter the number of products required for the length of the selected product.

---

**Length	**

Enter the length/s required for the selected product.

---

**LM	**

Displays the total lineal metres based on length x qty.

> ℹ️ Clicking the **Switch to Sales Packs Entry** will change the screen to **Sales Pack Entry** screen.

3. Click **Save/Close** once complete to add the tally quantities to the product entry section.

**Option 2**

1. In the **Tally **field, type in the quantity and the lengths required.

> 📝 **For Example**: 10/3 10/2.4
> 📝 
> 📝 *This equals 10 x 3m lengths and 10 x 2.4m lengths*

3. Continue to add the product as normal.
