If the product is a parent product, you can also add any available child products individually. A parent non-tally product can be added on its own if it is marked as **Independently Traded** in **Product Maintenance **under the **General Information**. 1. In the product entry section, scan or enter the **product ID**, or click **Search** to use the **Multi Select Product Child Finder** window. > ℹī¸ Child products inherit pricing from their parent product unless a specific child product has its own contract or promotion. When contracts or promotions exist, the most specific pricing always applies. Refer to [Contract and Promotion Pricing for Parent and Child Products](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/234225682) for details on how the pricing hierarchy works. 1. Enter a value in the **Qty** field. > ✅ **Tip: **Multiple child products can be selected by entering the desired quantities for each. Alternatively, click on the item's hyperlink to select only that product. 3. Click **Add to Selections** to list the selected items in the **Selected Product Details** Grid. > ✅ **Tip:** Click the **Remove** icon to remove an item from the** Selected Product Details** Grid. 4. Click **Use Selection **to add the selected products in the sales order line.
